All Lives Matter
Raising the slogans won't make it any better.
Dare to accept the truth,
All lives matter.
Does that sound better,
Islam is the way out,
Quran is the light out.
Read it I promise you will later have no doubt,
As from it I have learned
All lives matter....

To Whom
To whom shall I write my letters
To whom shall I read my poems
To whom shall I speak my thoughts
The mountains mere the graves
The valleys all in violence
The streets all in silence
The words all in waters
The dreams all in blood
The graves all in flood

Quarantine
Here and there I saw the fear
People running & saying it clear
Corona here, corona there
Some ran for needs
Some ran for greeds
Some were worried about all their deeds
It took me back in a reverse gear
It took me back to Kashmir my dear
Quarantine here, Quarantine there...

Premium Member A Scene In Kashmir
Within Armpits of
Snow-flakes-dipped
Quivering trees,
Cuddled with
Pale puffy leaves
Perspiring fogs,
Nevertheless
Siblings
In transition of
Crisis times,
Oddly red
Plump apples
Hide within
Wombs of snow,
Hungry red robins
Performing
Midwifery...

The Mourning Mountains
The oppression echoes all around the valleys
The injustice walks out all around the alleys
Being born and brought up in Kashmir
I have seen a lot happening in Kashmir
The unidentified graves and those naives
The burning windows and all half-widows
The curfews, crackdowns and all threats
The mountains mourning on innocent deaths...

Nights In Kashmir - Eternal Beauty
In the midst of the mountainous boundary
The speck of thy bright shining moon
Thy firmly watching mapple tree
Touching gently wise but wild breeze
Those thousand wish flowers at a glance
Thy rays of the moon's gleaming shadow
She saw such beauty in eternal peace
She took steps wrapped in the clouds
In the dwelling midnight; ah her thoughts...

Premium Member Wishes For a Soft Landing
wishes for a soft landing

I bought a Pashmina in a
a tight little shop in Lhasa;
the scarf was soft as feathers.

It was woven in Kashmir
by skilled artisans
with peaceful faces.

I walked to a stupa
near the path into the hills
tied it among the prayer flags.

Thinking here in this place
so close to god perhaps my
words would be more easily heard....

Who Says
Who says the world is free.
Come I will show you the bodies hanging on the maple tree.
Who says the world is free.
Come i will show you the bodies hanging on the apple tree.
Who says the world is free.
Come I will show you how they go around on a killing spree.
Who says the world is free.
Come i will show you the blood flowing like a sea.
Who says the world is free.
The freedom here has got a fee.

Our Blood
Our blood they say, but a rotten puss
And to our tears they say, water of Absurity
To our demands, they say, bullets and bamboos
Our heroes are lying in graves, it is Kashmir.

We walk with shadows
We talk with meadows
We are deprived of limbs
We are deciphered, Ah! ignored.

They drank from our throats
They kill without reason
We suffer like an innocent on gallows
Ready to be executed
For none of his faults
But to enjoy the Atrocities....

Kashmir
Kashmir a heaven on earth
So said those nerds
Gardens full of land mines
Where the fire flower blooms
Crystal clear waters
Full of human debris
Kashmir a heaven on earth
Said one and all
The frozen Dal lake
A view to behold
Full with wood chunks
And leaking petrol
Kashmir a heaven on earth
Said the teachers in school
The clear air
With stench of rotting food
Empty open spaces
Full of decorative tourists
Oh yes definitely a heaven on earth...

My Homeland Kashmir
Incomming of tears,
Returning of fears
Killing of men:The alarming bell
So called paradise changed into hell
On the faces of all
I saw the marks of fall
On the all sunny days
I saw the dooming ways
On the all rainy days
I saw the blood fell
So called paradise changed into hell
On the eve of Eid
No but, No sell
So called paradise changed into hell
No celebration, No festival
FAIZAN hope everything will be well
So called paradise changed into hell...

That night was the end of Jim’s career
warned he carried a vicious left hook,
an able-bodied man from Kashmir
read Jim’s weakness like an info book.

Yet Jim took him to the second round
and was leading by a single point,
but when over confident he found
let him through his guard and rocked the joint.

Jim didn’t hear the Referee’s count
when victim to a rapid combo,
just stars as city lights from the mount
as he groped for his mouth shield; Rainbow.
