Jupiter Above Venus

June, the month of Jupiter, aligned above Venus,
destined to collide by sight;

The space between the two behemoths, the
gas the light.

Jupiter above venus, in the night.

Premium Member Next Flame

There once was a young man from Jupiter
Who always did things a bit stupider---
Cooked an egg, didn't turn it
   Boiled water and burned it---
His next flame won't find him any cuter.

Ah, Spring

Jupiter anchored high in a still blue darkening sky,
framed by dispersing contrails, vaguely pink,
the exhaust of happy vacationers,
headed south, dragging winter with them.
Ah, spring.

To the moon and back
  was once a far-away goal
‘Course we already did that
  fifty-plus years ago

How about Mars, Venus
  Jupiter or Saturn
Why repeat what we’ve done
If there’s no glory to earn

Far Out

There was a grade-school dropout named Truperter
Whose neighbors in his town said couldn’t be stupidter.
He said the earth was flat,
Dinosaurs were due back.
And he swore Donald Trump has a condo on Jupiter.

Ursa Minor

Jupiter, your fallen house,
A strife, and unto me,
A deal that mirrors that of Faust
When Hell’s my home to be?
Mercury, you orbit close
Gemini, the Twins, am I
Side by side, am juxtaposed-
To Pluto’s ruling Sign

Listen to poem:
At the center of my orbit,
You were Jupiter, huge, remote,
Surface roiled by raging storms.
I was a dim, distant moon --
A tiny ice-bound clod
Eternally held at bay --
Still, snared inescapably
By your awful gravity.

searching 4 the other half, like a moonstruck poddy calf, yes i've been down that street, so recent in this heat, but when jupiter meets mars, how sweet... so complete when love is ours... thank you Laura B....

Paris Without Me

need a muse from another galaxy
need a naked star for my green card
need a red wine after our love apsis
need a planet of new life
Earth by spirit on air
Mars like a promised paradise
Jupiter in her philosophical analysis

Silence's Talk

Silence in thoughts
Has echo
Where sounds
Of universe
To me sends her ego
I listen the cry of Mars planet
And the call of Jupiter
For the sun
As his redo
Susurrate of Venus
Not far
In- to- go
Silence's talk in a peace
In ritual
Of globe

Premium Member Silhouette Among the Stars

“Why do you stop so often on our evening walks?” she asked.
“Are you captivated by the moon, or Jupiter…or Mars?”
“No.” He smiled.
“Not by the moon, or Jupiter…or Mars.”,
“It’s the only time I get to see the beauty of your silhouette among the stars.”

The Winter's Cry

Venus will not come,
Saturn often run.
Mars filled the earthen form,
Mercury; yet all burn.
Jupiter glows in pride,
Uranus take her on ride.
Earth alone made her stand,
Pluto spent her strand.
Neptune alone made a sigh,
As winter gave her cry.

Mars

Lightning crashes as Jupiter makes his mark.
Turning light to dark.
Junos everlasting love for her son, Mars.
As he battles his way through a vast universe.
A world wind of wisdom.
Windsurfing on high ground.
At last they battle moving with honor, & agility.

Jazzed third bright in night sky,
Juts in fifth place from sun.
Joins name of Roman god.

Jells expansion and grace,
Jives like a lucky star.

Avenue To the Stars

slow ride on a road
pavement of gold
stretches
into countryside
a passage
the middle of night
a cool breeze whispers
easing mortal worries
the hill rises
into dark skies
in solitude
I take a journey
past Mars and Jupiter
as distant points of light
spend their lives

Blissful Orphans

uranus in aries
moon in aquarius
her hand s in mine
two large quincux
between celestial bodies
mercury and jupiter conjunct
in virgo yod configuration
we are waiting for our
karmic missions new
inner level of awareness
astounding layers of ignorance
we are blissful orphans
