Empathy, Sympathy, Antipathy

Empathy
  is a glove
  that in us
 fits

sympathy
it's like freely speech
frankly, lovely
from a mother ...

antipathy
it's like storming monday
without money
jobless
and loveless ...!

Please Remember

A Nigerian, studying for years,
In higher institution,
Burning candles.

Graduated with honors, got no job,
Searching daily,
Fed up.

Tears rolling down, he is pained,
Remember him,
This I plead.

Me

I am me
I am black
I live in the green land,
With its fertility i cannot get
food to eat.
I am jobless,
I travel to white land in search of
food.
They depend on my land for food,
I am me,
Running from my land

Jobless In Atlanta

Unemployment line
Single file to soup kitchen...
Fear of homelessness

Unemployment line
Cries in emergency room...
Fear, no insurance

Unemployment line
Like a faith-healer's crusade...
Hope to help, heal, house

Premium Member She Sounded Thrilled To Be Jobless

My friend quit her teaching job
In January
This is almost March
I had no idea until today
That she is jobless.
She sounds thrilled
About not working
But what about money?
I wonder.
Knowing now
She must
Not need it.

simple rustic fellows come to cities --to make a fortune;
pandemic leaves them jobless suddenly--no security!
walk back home scores of miles --wounded in feet and heart, forever.

Jobless Failure I Am

Jobless failure life
Although not lazy
Active life spend I
Thirty two years young
In others favor

After Study
Institution
Certifies me
As graduate

But for job
Interview
Traps my life

Failure
Loves to

Fail!

Choices

Fear courses through me
Another day passes
Jobless and on the hunt
Sleeping on an unknown couch
Errors and lies lead to angry families
Run
Help
Fear
Homeless?
Idaho?
No.
Stay
Even if it's not good
Love
Fear
Hate
Confusion
Help!
Please!
Help.....

Premium Member Comedians

Comedians exploit the people's need,
to have themselves a good laugh to escape their harsh reality.
If the environment were changed to one where everyone benefits,
feeling melancholy or depressed would cease to exist,
making comedians obsolete or at the very least jobless.

In the Spirit of Christmas

Merry Christmas to you, Uncle Sam

Leaving the jobless with hat in hand

   Congress on a Yuletide roll

Brought an end to public dole --

They’re cooking their goose, not Christmas ham

*Written in 2010 after Congress made cutbacks in social service programs

Premium Member He Sang Like Sinatra

A New Jersey-ite, his name Hobo Ken
For singing ballads, he had quite a yen
  He would sing like Sinatra
  From Vegas to Sumatra
On rails he rode with fellow jobless men

Jobless Youths

There are no job opportunities
for the people
by the government.
There are more rob opportunities
for the government
over the people.

No job opportunities had been
created like they boasted
during the rallies
More opportunities have been
created rather
to rob the jobless.

A Light Lunch

She married him new,
A jobless,
At dawns he get lost,
The dusks chasing him home back,
He returns home not empty handed,
But with a News paper,
Sat for lunch once he,
She torn the News paper into pieces,
Brought it to his table for his lunch,
What's this?he asked,
What you bring home,she said!

Premium Member Less

Phones, wireless.
Cooking, fireless.
Cars, keyless.
Food, fatless.
Tires, tubeless.
Youth, jobless.
Leaders, shameless.
Relationships, meaningless.
Attitudes, careless.
Babies, fatherless.
Feelings, heartless.
Children, manner less.
We are speechless.
Government is clueless.
Politicians are worthless,
and I am scared ****less.

Nothing

AM I THAT USELESS
I FEEL THAT USELESS
I HAVE NOTHING
I AM NOTHING
AM I HERE ON EARTH....
WITH NO PURPOSE...?
I HAVENT HEARD MY CALLING
I CANT REALLY SLEEP
MY DREAMS ARE NIGHTMARES
I WAKE UP SO EARLY
YOU WOULD THINK...
I HAD SOMETHING TO DO
LIKE I HAVE A JOB....
BUT IM JOBLESS WITHOUT A LIFE
AN EMPTY LIFE
JUST A WALKING SOUL

The Jobless Man

The jobless man
Empty pocket
Empty kitchen
Empty plate
Empty pot
Empty Tommy
Empty pulse

The Jobless man
No money
No food
No home
No social benefits
No state support fund
No basic life

The jobless man
Dead system
Corrupt government
Victim of a Brutal regime
Failed politicians
Hopeless chances
Damaged mind
And now in the street hanging
Around as
The jobless man

Jobless Failure I Am - 02

How humorous life is
Failure loves my career
I’m ascetic of it
As if in-out of me
For the futile practice
Jobless vagabond still

I run on the path
The competition
Merciless study
Within all efforts
But failure chuckles

From far unknown
Failure shoots me
On bed of thorns
Frustration sucks

Interview
Accident
In success

Failure
Defeats

Life!

Old Man Like a Woman

Somewhere out there there is an old man
Who gossips like an old woman
His mouth is babbling everyday
Without even a holiday

Like an old goat out of reason
Who passed out of season
He speaks daily in vain
For, in his life he got lots of complain

His stomach bulges like a toad
Like a bag full of load
But he hides under his wife's skirt
For he's jobless since birth

COPLA CUARENTA Y CINCO: This Bad Guy World

If all the people on this Earth
Decided to believe in One God:
Guess who jobless

Sure, humans need caring from birth
Not at the cost of sparing rod:
Coax hate madness

Who will speak for the Almighty
Must show proof of saintly presence:
Loin-cloth yogi

Not that there weren’t some thought saintly
They served lepers not malevolence:
Power hungry

The Lay Off

We heard the buzz
A certain fly with hear on the wall
Twitters what was
The sorrow to come after the fall
And all my life
Suddenly undefined and summed up
In a new strife
"We have to let you go." And we sup
Nothing but shame
Before the eyes of wife and children
The empty frame
Of manhood like a rag, and heaven
Silent just stared
At the end of fragile dignity
Jobless and scared
In a small scraps of identity.

It's All God's Fault

Mother's cry
Children sigh
Refugees
Soldiers bleed.

Stomachs empty
Jobless plenty
Crime so high
People's lies.

Life is tough
Not enough
Look for more
Nothing in store.

Corrupt regimes
Sponge the cream
Death abounds
Sickness hounds.

Earthquakes rattle
Empty chapels
Fires and floods
Gangs with thugs.

There is no devil,
There is no evil
There is no sin nature, therefore
It's all God's fault.

Blame Him.

Where I Stand

Job less but lover

I trying to make a part
To do my work but as I believe
That "my work is my mirror" I look
after myself for do my life
In a repectfull image with my designing
and my love life as a lover I am little
growing seed from a plant root of
love make me to smell like catchers
of people I am jobless but lover
You think where I stand where my
stupid family cry for my death to
destroy my dreams

With love all

The Jolly of Justice

THE JOLLY OF JUSTICE

Jumping Jupiter this July,
ginormous jubilant justice,
jealously judged and justified,
joy went for the jugular.
I'm just the jewel of my destiny,
had to jettison all jesters -
jabbering jackass jesting.

Being too long on jail-flight,
jet-lagged and jaded
until my journey found Jesus
as a Jehovah's jeerer and
juvenile jobless joker,
then justification rid judgement,
joining the jolly of justice.
