The Lay Off

We heard the buzz A certain fly with hear on the wall Twitters what was The sorrow to come after the fall And all my life Suddenly undefined and summed up In a new strife "We have to let you go." And we sup Nothing but shame Before the eyes of wife and children The empty frame Of manhood like a rag, and heaven Silent just stared At the end of fragile dignity Jobless and scared In a small scraps of identity.
