The Lay Off

We heard the buzz
A certain fly with hear on the wall
Twitters what was
The sorrow to come after the fall
And all my life
Suddenly undefined and summed up
In a new strife
"We have to let you go." And we sup
Nothing but shame
Before the eyes of wife and children
The empty frame
Of manhood like a rag, and heaven
Silent just stared
At the end of fragile dignity
Jobless and scared
In a small scraps of identity.

yes very blunt and haunting, we are all so close to desolation. It is scary.
