Jazz Against the Machine

Alright ive played this game before
Toss some skittles before you get old
Make a move, save the day
Getting drunk on the funk

Jazz In Color

Painted harmony,
Soft analogous rhythms:
Music for the eyes.

A jazz loving beagle in Fairfax
digs Dizzy and Miles to the max
But it’s now hip-hop and punk
No more groovin’ to Monk
He visits neighbors just to relax

Premium Member In the Silent Way

Listen to poem:
With no fuss,
no bother,
no prompting
the gracious,
generous giver gives,
in somber silence,
unnoticed,
a joyously
benevolent
improvisation,
in the silent way.

Instruments

Knife and pen, both should be warned,
Tools of deed and death,
Heart and life, they were scavenged,
By any means, please keep your faith,
Perhaps, you can dream like Creath.

Man, just listen
These black cats
Do those scats and meows,
Rolling up and down
This black and white ivory
Piano keyboard
Man that is true
Jazz improvisation,
In progress

Night Jazz

There is nothing as romantic
as the saxophone's tunes,
blending together with a scene
of dull street lights, and
couples holding each other's
hands, under a giant full moon.....

JAZZ

Just eighty-four, Grandma
Jives to Michael Jackson,
Jogging memories of
Jumping into fox trots
Jolts of Charleston dance,
Joyous beat of brass bands,
Jubilant flapper times.

Sammy Davis and Ella Fitzgerald, jazz singers
Their b'deed'lee-dip riffs on the Sullivan show didn't linger

Jazz Head

He spins,
and with his arms,
his sides,
are breaking walls,
and barriers,
solid change
becoming fluid
and drink:
100 proof alcohol,
for the wet hot head,
having tasted love the night before,
recreates in the next day,
and the next,
in addiction.
