November Jazz

November Jazz

lead gale trumpets

high
effing sharp
                blast leaves shaky
beat-nodding
trees
bare knuckled--
heads swaying--
moan

nippy
whirling
fingers
tap a cool
l o n g note
segueing
into December Blues

Such an apt description on November !! Reading this as the last leaves find rest on the ground and a cold front moves into our area. Enjoyed !!
