Let Loose Confusion....

What is the nature
                    of a confident heart
                                 shrouded by insecurity....

All people are burdened with so many problems of insecurity.
It is a major obstacle that holds all of us back as a specie.

A lie is a try
     at superiority

   An attempt to hide
     insecurity

   What it seeks to conceal
     it reveals

The Unseen Bloom

Like a lone flower
in the silence of still air—
a graceful young girl,
modest in her quiet glow,
unseen by the insecure.

Anything But Mine

Don't make me yawn
Just pick
One color
It doesn't much matter anyway
What color
You pick
Any will do, aside from the original

Love To the Letter

Love to the letter
Word's are better
As porous is paper
A fiber of nature
And unlike man
Paper can
Overcome
Insecurity
Render purity

Free

I wish I were free of seld doubt
Free of insecurity
Free of fear
Free of embarassment
I wish I were free to be myself and not care

Premium Member Social Security Insecurity

I cashed my Social Security check

But even now I'm quite afraid

Because after adding up all my bills

I still owe more than what it paid

Premium Member Devotion

Your lips weep with delicate insecurity, but your eyes—
Your eyes bare soul-less intentions
On vague horizons just out of reach.

I am smitten once again.

Premium Member Oozing Insecurity

   Liars spend their days
     touting insincerity
       oozing insecurity

   Do they stand a chance
     when their tongues
       no longer dance

Premium Member his insecurity

she is beyond beautiful
too good for me
dazzling sky blue eyes and perfect pink lips
why is she dressed like that?
for other men?
his insecurity caused him suspicion

Beauty of Insecurity

It was just one glance
He was instantly captured
Already anticpating the next

He sees her insecurities, innocence
All he wants to do is save her
To love and protect her as his

Quantum Leaping To Fifth Dimension

domination of insecurity
fades into a mist of lust
extra ordinary times
opening hearts
quickening growth
quantum leaping
to fifth dimension
we are cleaning
the wounds of

Insecurity and Impurity

Insecurity and Impurity

A big problem to me has been insecurity;
Had resembled and become an impurity;
Tell tale signs,
Of others designs,
And much the result of more immatruity.

Bloody Children

All those times

Mouths of different

History of war,

Mistrust,

Insecurity.

Ten thousand years

Excuses for killing,

Mocking,

Insecurity.

The Stupid's brethren,

Bloody children.

I am full of poems
and insecurity

life is more than marks,
and conclusions,

this life was meant
to be

I didn’t mean to rhyme
for you
and me

Three Words

I LOVE YOU
The words jump off the page
Eight simple letters
Insecurity fears the most
Search within your soul
Embrace the love that waits
Those that lose the most
Are those who hesitate

Written by M. BURTON

Our Representatives

Under the national treasures, they scramble for seats,
Selfishness solemnly from the wrinkled faces drips.
Do they speak our words or the words of Japanese Jeeps
When poverty and insecurity on our foreheads firmly sits?

Insecurity..

An agent of persuasion

For a separate one..

All storyland

Of course..

Insecurity names a

Condition which seems

To apply to a character

Who reacts..and

It might be a best-seller!

Echo of dispair

Do I deserve it?
Asked my heart within me.
But my voice was stuck.
Within the throat of insecurity.

Will the things change?
Questioned my soul beneath.
But my moments were paused.
Behind the sea of responsibility.

Premium Member Male Insecurity and Me

No male with his woman should ever be
threatened in the least by yours truly.
I'm incapable of having a meaningful relationship with anybody,
whether that relationship be intimate or platonically.
I have major issues with intimacy.
