Devotion

Your lips weep with delicate insecurity, but your eyes—
Your eyes bare soul-less intentions
On vague horizons just out of reach.

I am smitten once again.

Eyes are always a giveaway, Angie! On the whole this is an emotional poem in which vulnerability plays an important part. ~ Best regards // paul
