The
cold
frost rose
Surprising,
grows on fresh sea ice
eye-catching ice-crystal structures
Imagine picking frost flowers in the Polar night
an adventurous place where it is possible to meet the white bear King Valemon
In the vaults of my mind is fog,
that grey speckled layer I scan,
vague vision a frustrating blur,
six sided ice crystal baleful,
a hindrance to glowing recall,
aerosol dangle, ground floater,
me beggar of radiant sun,
to banish that cloudy chaos
Winter
Winter, devastation after the fall,
Imposition of Arctic Law
Naked landscapes, souls bared,
Trembling in terrored torture
Enshackled in ice crystal chains.
Remorseless warmth awaiting rescue.

A childhood
Stony was the soil of my childhood
A tiny room above the stable
Cold was the night
A straw mattress and mice
Ice crystal on the roof
Dreaming of running somewhere
Anywhere but here
A pale dawn
The sun is white this morning
In the barn animals stir
No more time to dream
Tomorrow he will run away
I'd found,
I found a crystal
Oh it's a diamond
So beautiful it is
But why cold, and slippery
No an ice crystal
So fragile and fleeting
Thought I'd found a crystal
A diamond it is not,
Melting away...
Through my warm hands
Their warmth it never embraced
Not broken just gone
Still,
My crystal,
My friend.

The most wondrous gift to share is imagination...poet
The fresh silent snow has fallen
to spawn a dreamer's fantasy
of a snow angel that had come to life
and granted me wings, so that I could fly
into the snowy realm above ice crystal clouds
where I'll soar on dreams of blissful wishes
with the wings of unimaginable freedom
to glide among the clouds toward glittering stars
and carried far beyond my imagination
to a world of wondrous wonder
from the silent snow of my fantasy
