The hourglass filled with
grains of essence that pours and
fulfills once again
Date: 06/16/2019
an hourglass
filled with men
who ruled
this world
again
by conquering
time
shall
fill
the
hourglass of mankind
The quicksand of life ever flowing
struggle to be bound within its knowing
liberation lies beyond the illusion controlling
Lovely hourglass lass
Hidden delights capture, my
Imagination

The hourglass of moments ebbs and flows
One snap, prized journeys are gone
Remembered as one's past .
Not for Contest--
Thru the hourglass
time ticks by
As the sand falls
thru the hands of time.

EYEING THE HOURGLASS
curious he watches grains of sand fall
for first time in his three years
cognitive of future

~
heavy is the hourglass sand
that sifts through my hand
Kim Rodrigues (c) 2016
On multiple planes
sing infinite socio-bytes
my waters flow pride
as they hide from sorry eyes
my hourglass tears turn to dust
Catching truth in the light
or trapped by the night
The hourglass a prison
—as twilight falls
(Dreamsleep: September, 2022)
thy
soul is the hourglass
that
ticks and tocks
thy
soul swings
across
the
edge of the universe
when
thy soul is the clock
Victim of his own success…
the treadmill calls,
the hourglass broken
—casualty of what time denies
(The New Room: November, 2020)
eight legs wide
an array of eyes
a red hourglass
that glows
from her side, but
the black widow spider
lives inside of
the red rose
Quicksand hope hollow inside,
deranged dreams subside.
Shaky footsteps falter,
hourglass sands capture.
Life loses the prop.
What shade of love is so divine
Pure love my dear is colorblind
We capture love in this hourglass
Each grain of love, reclaim your past
Grains started falling
within the New Year hourglass
too soon, all will pass-
each one, a special moment
to be cherished and used well
Faster than hourglass
more sand slip
through my fingers
words I couldn't tell you
pick them up one by one

Timeless
suspended in time
hourglass broken and forlorn -
past, present, future

hourglass of golden yellow
your symmetrical beauty
with a tiny waist
woman of the forest
autumn tender
few experience
wonderland of leaves
There once was a turtle named Myrtle
Stuck in a plastic ring girdle
It altered her mass
Into an hourglass
Leaving her deformed and infertile.
Middle age woman from Tallahassee
believed she was something very classy.
Finger rings
Brooches, things
But time had warped her hourglass chassy
Time
ticking
running out.
Mortals buy it not,
angels cannot sell it:
She is born by life and death..
"crave good things but not all at once"
when
time is made of
grains of sand
then
we are
trapped in
the
hourglass
the
soul of man
each time
the
cosmos bets
her
tambourine
HOURGLASS FIGURE
a shower curtain of dew
widow spider bids adieu
hazard for the chosen few
