Tombstone - Like the Four Horsemen
they walked along
weathered, carrying their guns;
like the four horsemen…

down to the O.K.
guns blazing, bullets flying;
smoke clears, the strong stand…...

We Whisper Wind
The forest gallops
Through the night
The horsemen rides
Near candlelight
The mountains
Burrow deep inside
This ground
We whisper wind,
Without a sound...

Revelations
The earth shall tremble
From the trumpets of God
The earth shall split
From the hands of Satan
The four horsemen shall ride,
Upon this earth, but
Nothing shall be forsaken...

Sensation
Greedy media give us sensation: the four horsemen who bring devastation. But if they were to stop, do a bad-good news swap, we’d bemoan Armageddon’s cessation.

The Horsemen Ride Again
Pestilence, Poverty, War and Disease
sweep this world with valiant ease.
They ride again as once long before,
hoping that they wont come anymore.
Humanity has its minutes counted,
As the horsemen have already departed....

The Four Horsemen
The Four Horses went riding

as I trotted 'round in shame

Two worlds were colliding

and I felt the flame

So here I am in hiding

for I am to blame

Now, Four Horses are dividing

and calling out my name...

The Horsemen Passed Me By
They travel at the speed of light
The horsemen passed me by
Through cobblestone streets, at night
The horsemen passed me by
Long black capes and rings of fire
The horsemen passed me by
Mount your horse if you desire
The horsemen fill this sky...

A Child's Dream
At nine when I go to bed
I find many pictures in my head
Castles with dragons prowling around
Gardens where magic fruits are found
Fair ladies prisoned in a tower
Or lost in an enchanted bower
While horsemen ride by stream
That border all this land of dream
I find so clearly in my head
At nine when I go to bed....

Conquest
An endless cycle
Little men with little minds
Want to rule the world

War
History teaches
The one thing humans do best
Is kill each other

Famine
Human paradox
In a world of such plenty
People are starving

Death
Fact or prophecy
The human race is the next
Endangered species...

Have No Fear
I am born to die, to live and thrive;

I slay all mortals just to stay alive;

There's a rumble of thunder, as the horsemen appear;

All blackened souls shall forever live in fear;

As I watch the demons dig my grave;

I hear the distant sound of bells;

So here you see i stand with the reaper;

To etch my name in the tombstone of Hell....

The Angels of the True God
The angels
of the
true God
Fly in
mid heaven
Searching
 the hearts
of men
Reporting back
to their Father
what they read
in the hearts
of men
The horsemen
of the
Apocalypse
The dark horses
of death
Weilding
their swords
of righteousness
to decapitate
the unholy
from among
our kind
to bring in
a new order
of righteous
mankind
To start anew
what was lost
in Paradise...

Premium Member Blood Moon
end time harbinger, blood on the lunar tides,
how you threaten mortal men and their earthly brides

the cool blue of death masks the lip of starless sky
reeking hellish revelations fearfully implied

four horsemen gallop through the sea of blackest night
pestilence, famine, war, death bring the Blood Moon's bite

full blown the iris of the eye, no white is left
life will end in bloody light leaving all bereft...

Premium Member An Existential Curiosity
I have given up on the divinity of man
For in fulfillment’s race I’m an also ran

I’ve suited up, prepared to play
Sat on the bench many a day

Driven by the insanity
There was hope in sanctity

As the horsemen of my soul
Rode in search of being whole

Thundering hooves and flowing manes
Pursue their shadows in cold rains

As I sit and percolate
Struggling to meditate

From Robert Frost 'The Road Not Taken';Last Line Verse
Galloping horses shudder the ground as .....Two
Horsemen draw lashes, striking forth on .....Roads
parallel. Dawn appears through trees and roads .....Diverge
one to the east, the other south. Horseman one .....In
earnest, upon a life depends, carries .....A
somber secret, written on .....Yellow

Four
Shadows cast across the land walking with the devil hand in hand.
Dark clouds on the horizon the four horsemen are riding.

Galloping across the plains hell bent on the devil's games.
Travelling like Knights of the damned on mighty steeds scorching the land.

Death and destruction and war is the plan
Reaping the land of every soul is planned
these four men are bound hand in hand
Riding hard to reach the end of this little game the devil has in his hand....

How Many Hearts Can They Stop
From this day on,
I`m going to leave my heart at home,
with you Mum,
not to get burnt,
mangled
or stollen.
I admit I lie to it
when the dark wings pay me a little visit,
at least my dreams are honest.
Each time I see the Sun
you tell me about the age
before the horsemen came.
Is the bread much stroger than flesh,
the fabric can stand the fire,
may the clay rise as fortress?
I forgot the signs of life,
Mum,
sing to me,
stop the sickle of time!...

Death
I sat in my lonely room.
Then I heard the noise of thunder.
There stood before me a man on a pale horse.

I immediately knew it was life’s doom.
My life was forfeited, for him to plunder.
He spoke I was shaken it was ungodly deep and hoarse.

You will be mine herald, he said to me.
Let them know that the horsemen have returned.
He gave me his scythe as proof, it filled me with dread.

For him I bent at the knee.
For him I would love to live in an earthly bed....

Our Choice
OUR CHOICE

this is the winter of our discontent
the four horsemen ride exultant
slaughter in churches
bombed nurseries
corrupt legislators
pollinators dying for lack of forage
all the sun’s blessings can not
disguise our disintegration

small acts of gentleness
saving horses
and tiny piglets from factory farms
a touch of hands
or smile on the phone
keep the choking smoke away
we are the lucky ones
who see these distant fires
signaling from hill to hill...

For You I Cry
We are the chosen few
Oh so rare
Black roses
Fragile petals bare

We carry your pain
for everyone to see
Our faces white
with your perversion

Eyes blackened
for your suffering
A black waning mouth
Your starvation

These blackened nails
your famine expressed
Arms riddled by scars
Your war torn countries

And I cry for you
Your pain, your suffering
Your corruption,
your selfishness
Not for your
disgust of me

I pity you, as I am riding
with the four horsemen
of the apocalypse...
