Feeling

The day is dreary.
But I sit here teary.
I’m so bleary.
Over my deary.

I got an theory.
It’s so eerie.
It has me weary.
I wish to be cheery

Her wish can never be.
She blows out birthday candles with effort.
Scarcely holding back the tears.

Please

One drop of saline

Contained all her heart could give

Wishing for a whisper

A touch of hope or surrender

May love and peace answer her pleas

All seems dark and gloomy.
Just then, happy thoughts seem very distant.
Remember... this too shall pass.

Hardened Heart

Barriers cracked and chipped with age
Once standing firm now tremble in rage.
To regain the solidity once defined
That now lies uncertain, its’ strength resigned.

Lonely Riders

Lonely riders,
lonely all in my soul.

Lonely riders,
they are all great and tall.

Lonely riders,
can you hear my desperate call?

Lonely riders,
could you heal my broken soul?

Always

Alone myself
Alone with me
I cry inside
Can't you see
Make it stop
This pain inside
It hurts so bad
No place to hide
Help me end
All this despair
Be my friend
Always care

How Sad True Sadness

There was a sadness I revered
But never possessed,
Because there was youth
And hope to spare,

But as youth ebbs,
And hope recedes,
I know that sadness for real,
And how sad true sadness feels.

she reached out
wanting to shout
but he wasn't there
she thought he didn't care
a silent scream
a bitter dream
could not cope
lost all hope
she went away
he hoped she'd stay

Premium Member My Heart Flutters

I see her wink
  My heart flutters
She bats her eyelashes
  My knees are butter

Sultry, she strolls toward me
  O, sublime, supreme ecstasy --
She deigns to speak, "Prithee,
  Who you staring at, retiree?"

I heard you sob
today
Don’t cry Rashda
don’t
Tomorrow’s sun
brings a new day
Today’s sorrow
will wither away
The new birth
is yours alone
Then peace & love
shall live & reign
In your smile
Forever

hopeless

my hopes and dreams
came crashing down
and yet nobody
stayed around

I am all alone
in this awful place
feeling as if I'm
just full of hate

my body is hurting
and my heart frozen
I wonder if this is
what God has chosen

Six Ribs and a Collarbone

She's tough.
Ana's tougher.
Barely seventeen, five stone
Gaunt and battered, she stands alone
Dependent on the lone knife that slays her.
I wish I could, she tells her food.
But Ana says I can't.
One day, she'll win.
She's tough.

The Day I Stopped Trying

One look is all it took to let me know that whatever I do I shall never ever be good enough for you. That precious bead of time - maybe a minute or two lifetimes somehow while crushing me also miraculously set me free.

You Sit Alone and Stare At the Wall

You sit alone and stare at the wall
And darkness is all that you will find
Messing around with narcotics
Is sadly destroying your mind
Just get yourself some help
And take back your life
Remove yourself from the negative
Move towards the right track

Lonley Light

What if the dar took over
no happiness
no joy
no love
but out of the darkness comes a

light

alone but bright
will anyone realize that just because it is so opposite of the darkness
that it is good
open your eyes and become the light
destroy the darkness around you

Hand In Hand

I cry alone within myself
No one to share my pain
But one day soon
It will come to an end
And then I'll be free again
Free from the worries
Of days gone past
Where never there was a friend
But one day soon
He'll come for me
And we'll walk away
Hand in hand

Only You

Time passes slowly
When your alone
Home doesn't feel homey
When your on your own

When there's no one to share
This pain deep inside
You think they don't care
So you just want to hide

Hide from yourself
And others too
For nobody knows
This pain, only you

Gazing at the clock Hoping it would tick faster Looking at the door Hoping it would open Listening for your footsteps No sound is heard The clock has not stopped The door has not opened Your footsteps has gone quiet, So has your voice…
