Homey Domey Gomey Loamy Foamy Stoamy Roamy Doo
Delighted mice are dancing, around the kitty fiddler’s shoe
an hour ago I counted happy rodents numbering up to sixty-two
None of them realizing they are being led to a pot of tasty mousey stew...

Only You
Time passes slowly
When your alone
Home doesn't feel homey
When your on your own

When there's no one to share
This pain deep inside
You think they don't care
So you just want to hide

Hide from yourself
And others too
For nobody knows
This pain, only you...

Evidence
God makes his presence known
through actions of our own

all that we are or see
testifies to Him
who created all things.

why do the geese
resolve to fly south
in V formation?

birds build homey nests
spiders weave a masterpiece
    every time.

did not God plant
the seeds in there?

Is not this great God everywhere?...

More Room For My Stuff
I go to work to make more money,
to buy more stuff to make home homey,
the only problem now I find,
is theres no room to plant my behind,

So I went out and bought a bigger home,
so all my stuff could have their own zone,
whereas now I work a lot more and am rarely home,
to pay for all my stuff and the pricey mortgage loan.

Walking Thought
Some thoughts are made
to rust and brim
some to bloom
its sweetest scent

scents of hope, joy and peace
such are thoughts that combs its nest
that juicy comb
for the homey mind

Don't relent
  till your all is out
Don't relent
  till you give your own
Don't relent
till your thoughts are out

The walking thought for the blazing mind!

Pour Love
Pour love everywhere
Veer fairy lilies gently
Thrilling spring’s beauty

Plant white carnation
Daisies are chanting “Holy”
Freeing harmony

Pour love everywhere
Palm branches cuddle lily
Wine is spring’s honey

Plant dwarf gladiolus
A rosy crown is homey
Fairy’s sketch pretty.
By: Nadia Shahwan. This poem "Pour Love" won an honorable mention in June
2009, then became the winner in January 2010....

Premium Member The Castle
Castle

many rooms
but there seems to be no room
for my affection for you
Inside.

But I built

It's a castle
a lofty, gauzy place
to keep my aspirations high
among clouds

It seems

my dream location
Is enraptured in your arms
safe and sensual
homey and content

during storms
lightning and lull

during gloomy clouds
I watch my every move
I let the rain fall as
facing the sky
soak me....
