It doesn't matter if you have very poor, or very excellent visual eye sight.
Everyone has 20/20 vision always in hindsight.
foresight ~ how thoughtful
insight ~ nice ingredients
hindsight ~ acquired taste

And Sarah Palen weren’t to blame;
The GOP thought women would follow,
Like all their heads were suddenly hollow.
Hank was a maker of stilts
and sold stunning quilts.
Trade was a success
but caused folks duress
when workers on stilts wore kilts.
Hindsight

Haiku
Hindsight is always,
Twenty, twenty so its said.
So don’t put things off.
Hours, upon the bench she sat,
a winter face, neath summer hat:
beneath, the source of her complaint
a scribbled sign; beware - wet paint
She wanders round home
In the winter of her life -
Her ruby cheeks glow
In the mirror of regret
Chanting her shoulds, coulds and woulds.
God did not like messing with clay
And found there was another way
Then Eve did her best
Promoting incest
And what a mess we're in today!
Maxim #20:
INSIGHT
Insight is inside looking out,
Hindsight is outside with a pout.

Turn the pages of time.
Youth discarded like the old abandoned toy.
Regrets a dime a dozen.

reversal in time
history to be reviewed
dreams, wishes bestowed
the human race put on trial...
yet in their image were born.

Which Do You have
Haiku: by Tom

Foresight looks ahead,
Hindsight is twenty-twenty,
Sightless requires braille.
The here and now may be hazy
in broad daylight,
as they pass, they sparkle crystal-clear
in hindsight !
had planned my next flight
with great hindsight and foresight
one damn oversight

Deck the halls with gold
and whitewash society
erase the bonds of culture
and that unfitting history
focus on how pretty
your teenage bride will be.

If nothing is a void, in hindsight
Nothing is absolutely impossible... right?

On “Be Smart”
Got some friends that don't see the light
It’s coming around again,
memories of the past
bring comfort
warmth of knowledge
wakes the soul
with little thought
I'm touching
smelling the past
like a quest

The Death Star builder said it was flawless
But in hindsight he wasn’t too cautious
There was the exposed center
But what really helped end her
The emperor had no corner office
your only half as old as you are smart
by counting my blessings every day my hindsight doubles
all work and no play makes jack a dull boy
you wouldn't believe the irony....seriously
all time foolishly taken for granted
in hindsight ever fleeting
once spent forever gone

Listen to poem:
Hindsight is foresight's foe
Heralding woe betides
Halting the hoodwinking
Haunting the present tense
Hanging regrets in caches
Hype, hope dashed by failures
Holding you back, abjure!
They say love is blind, but that's in hindsight
When you're smitten, everything feels right
Open your eyes to the foibles of your true love
The romance is over ~ off come the gloves
A bove, the King on high
B elow, His creations live and die
O nly hindsight reveals why…
V eiled, the reasons from human eyes
E ven the King eventually cries
A conscience blindly ignored,
complicates the simple way,
through this unethical foray,
and stops progress forward.
(inspired by Brian Strand for his 4 line end rhyme contest.) 5/23/11
this journey i have traveled
and had my foot heavy on the gas
i never stopped
i seldom paused
i rarely slowed down for
the many roses there to smell
