Hindsight

She wanders round home
In the winter of her life -
Her ruby cheeks glow
In the mirror of regret
Chanting her shoulds, coulds and woulds.

Thanks Dorothy :-D its a new form for me too. Xxx I think you'll enjoy giving them a go. Its hard to think of what to write sometimes, so the given prompts by the challenges/contests are a big help xx

Sigh.. those regrets.. the winter of her life.. how beautifully you've painted the symbolism and metaphor here.. depicting the freezing era of her heart, when she struggles through the cold with all those thoughts of ache and endless possibilities.. and uncertainties.. what could, should and would have happened..if only! Loved reading this, dear Natasha. Sending you light and best wishes ~

Thanks Hiya :-D its difficult to express things in a nutshell but with these opportunities in the set challenges, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. :-D thank you for seeing the thoughts and depth behind this poem. Warm wishes.
