I visit you in memories,
like walking into my highschool room.
And I lost you there,
just like all that blood
It's all my fault
velocity measured with ticker tape — students jump out window

The appeal of blonde hair never spoke to me until now
I was content with the plain brown
But then your blue gaze snagged onto mine
And now it’s taking all I have not to drown.
waltzing under stars, pimples break from thick hair mousse...disgusting prom night!

In highschool the class clown's name was Seth
Made some laugh and bored others to death
It wasn't a rumor
His good sense of humor
Couldn't hide a slight case of bad breath
Devan its highschool you touched my heart
We both had feelings from the start
I will always love you because you gave me another chance
Still to this day Im in a trance.

I cry for you my beloved
I cry for you my first poem
I loved you so much
But somewhere in the year 2000 I lost you
Somewhere between hands of two highschool students I lost you
Now I sit here missing you
But sadly I can't remember any part of you
I’m at the net,
Fast hands, quick feet.
I read the game,
I take my stand.
You swing?
I’m there.
You tip?
I’ll block.
I jump high,
Land strong,
In the front,
I belong.
I control the court,
I set the tone.
In the front,
I stand alone.
~ with the glasses of love - always on the hunt - my first kiss ~

(I was shocked when this really happened to me in grade 12)
Snuggling in the covers
Chilly hands and feet
Frisky cats playing in the cool air.
Highschool football team in the homecoming parade.
Pickup trucks pulling trailers with four wheelers and
deer stands, congest the weekend byways.
What's that? Ping-Pow-Bang!! Oh! The rifles!
Look out, destructive pea eaters.
Your eyes were dark
Like the deep night sky
In every moment we knew
At dumb highschool dances
That smile on your face
Could clear any storm my mind grew
We collapsed on the floor
Outside in the hall
I thought for a moment and knew
That whether we’re friends
Or lovers, like then
That I will always love you
