Many mistakes 'til now from then,

          Many roads that might've been,

But I hope it's said I hedged my bets,

With a bountiful heart & no regrets.

Harmony
Handcraft peaceful wave vibes.
Hone serene as heirloom
Homes need for hearth’s joy bloom.
Harbor laidback designs
Hedged by goodwill’s good times.
Hands hold, hearts mold and rise
Hooked on smooth, calming highs.

Winner's Badge
Margin was short,
minute and hair breadthed,
he smiled outwardly,
and inwardly grimaced,
hid the inner pain,
and buttered the whole main,
His lordship came forward,
quite ingratiated,
waving hands,
he conjured an ace,
of his grace,
which now began to race,
lordship had obliged,
had the margin hedged,
he came out with a winner's badge....

they
      fought a
              millienium
to be free
from
            hegmony,
a republic of
       equal
                   hearts
inked in blood
of history;
Free
        to be,
did not last,
no matter
            the struggles
of the past
Hedged in,
               freedom
could not be,
              emeshed
by tentacles
'cross
another sea....

It's hedged--but an allegory
Augments the lore in each story
Son Isaac he'd gore
But Abe knew at his core
Zeal with excess has no glory

Author's Note:
I believe the voice of god in the story
is Abraham's conscience.
The bible might just be
the first comprehensive psychology textbook.
It's a string of pearls from people who faced
the same moral and ethical questions we do....

Countryside View
Green broccoli hills,
Swaying daffodils.

A tall tree of oak,
Hedged by hawthore just like a cloak.

The sparkling canal with a colourful barge,
How do you steer something so long and so large.

There's a wispy smoke trail, floating away in the sky,
With a million leaves gently blowing by.

The afternoon goes to evening, and the light begins to wane,
Then tomorrow I'll watch the scene again from behind my window pane....
