Oil paintings sing
Happy endings


Fantasy speaks
Of inner peaks


Lovely eyes say
More that child's play


Seasons etch deep
Wonders that heap


Words that you write
Touchstones I cite


Dawn follows dusk
Dusk primes a trust 


Each unto each
A moment's reach

Leon Enriquez June 25, 2014 at 11:15 PM Dear Richard: You are right. I write these pieces each as a standalone couplet. Some are related pieces. Most are not. My thoughts unfurl in a random, unplanned outburst and I record these verses with minor changes. Mostly, I just go with ebb and flow. What I get is a motley bunch of verses here and there?
