Premium Member She Teases Farm Boys
Happy as a lark, they call her Lily
She teases farm boys, acting so silly
  Tells the corniest jokes
The kind told by old folks
Lily's a pretty Hee-Haw Hillbilly...

Like the wind stars love to travel celestial journeying exotic vacationers racking up mileage. Occasionally a brief stopover induces a star to settle down in a new place happy as a lark.

Premium Member Look An Aardvark
I felt happy as a lark,
I watched an aardvark;
As I sat in a giant arc.
Next, I waved hi to Mark,
As he jogged in the park.
He wanted to catch Clarke.
Then I noticed a dog bark,
That resembled a gray shark;
Lastly, had to run; it got dark.

If I Had Breastices
If I had breastices
I'd want me some thirty eights
or maybe forty-four magnums
to impress all my mates

I'd want them to be soft
and a little bouncy too
but only for my pleasure
not to share with you

for if I had breastices
I'd be happy as a lark
smiling all during the day
and panting after dark...

Silence
Oh, to lie awake in the dark,
And let the silence wash over me.
No need to feel as happy as a lark,
Content to simply be.
And the silence that surrounds me
Feels and looks and tastes like freedom.
In the silence there is peace
I think that we all need some.
Time fades away along with noise
As day is done and night begins
Time to rest and count your joys
And soak up the silence within....

Moonlight Delight
As we are spending quality time together in the dark, I will freely admit I feel happy as a lark. What splendor you display as you shine in the moonlight. Without a doubt, I think you are a delight. You have become someone I truly adore. I feel like Bing Crosby singing to Dorothy Lamour. What a wonderful feeling of coming together as one. For once, I don't want to see the rising of the sun.

Canine, incisor, molar to.
What are all three? I’m looking at you.
One hundred thousand dollars up for grabs
Ellen is waiting showing her abs
Dogs teeth, teeth dogs, dogs the woman guesses.
Man gets a chance to steal. Dogs? He professes.
That’s great! His wife yells, happy as a lark.
Great in what world? All three in the dark.
It is teeth, Ellen announces. The audience laughs.
Everyone else there sees both contestants are daft....

Ariel
While channel two was signing off the air, there was the rocket’s red glare and the bombs bursting in air. Where did you and Ariel go from there? That was a nice tale you told. Now it is over thirty years old. You seemed happy as a lark after the day you met her at Paramus Park. Yes, Ariel was a girl you would adore. Dean, could you tell us about her a little more? Based on the 1978 hit song “Ariel” by Dean Friedman.

Go Tigers
These players are very athletic and adroit. This baseball team represents the City of Detroit. The fans who attend their games are happy as a lark. These boys play their home contests at Comerica Park. With hitting and pitching, this team has gotten it all together. Their fans just hope Detroit has plenty of sunny weather. The Tigers are playing well during this current campaign. Perhaps a pennant is something this team can attain. July 27, 2013

Rain
Looking out my window as the sky goes dark
Watching as the trees dance wildly, happy as a lark
The wind singing as it races, making sounds of a race track
Then little droplets of rain start to fall
Lightly at first, then picking up speed as though answering an urgent call
I love it when it rains
It finally slows everything calm
The air now fresh and sweet a healing balm
Butterflies and insects fill the area
I love it when it rains
Especially after a hot afternoon in my Nigeria...
