hunger gnaws haplessly
harvestless, stark, earthen womb
sparse amniotic fluid
vacant calcified corpses
emphysemic ether blooms...

Rosy 4
You had our meeting
as a chat
like midnight bathers
haplessly skinny dipping
you had it to a fine art

I gave my best shot
like the brightest CV
I rendered my soul
and was found wanting
May I ask you
what are you truly looking for
like a jet plume in the sky
you jettison the natural order
whilst Rosy sleeps...

Recall
Banished by Zeus’s jealous wife, Hera,
the lively Oread, Echo,
began to wander haplessly
into the mountain ranges
The depths of dark abysses
The doleful tunnels and
The abandoned mines,
The desolate caves,
valleys and ravines.

Lovelorn and pining
for her lost love, Narcissus,
the once loquacious Echo
could now recall only
the last shreds of
someone else's spoken words....

The only reason I moved away
Is to try to forget the pain
Haplessly unintentionally brought
On by the people you used to be.

All my life, I needed to feel more loved,
To help me move on from the times
When I was so lonely.

The only reason I move on now,
Is that I accept you all as you are.
All my life I wanted you to all realize,
But now I see fully,
It's the cruelty of fate laced with meaning....

Party Frenzy.
Another bash

   Careening dancers emerge

Frenzied

           Gyrating haplessly into jigs

                                                  kilts lifting

                     Maurice nods

                               Ormond poised queerly

Rocking
                   stretching

                  Tim under vintage wiles

                                                 Xavier yawning zzs....

Pigs Like To Come With a Trophy
The pigs like to come with a trophy;
A trophy for how foolish you are!
Like these two that proudly defy
What I had set up as a bar!

I had used a wire to fasten a can
That was to serve as a water crepe.
However, the twosome devised a plan
And now display my trick as cheap!

Here's the trophy as I arrive today!
The loosed wire that had fastened
Is now haplessly dangling away
And the fellows look quite emboldened!...

Train To White City
Slouching on the evening train
Ravelling through old anxieties,
It better than eye contact with robots
Haplessly Shuffling on and off
The deepest and fondest memories appear
Through the thorny ripples of mind
Speeding down memory lane
First memory, first bike, first bruise
First Day of school, no front teeth
Fast forward to first date,
Sloppiness of that first awkward kiss
First love pangs of distress
Until at last your realize
You passed your flaming stop....
