Premium Member Zoo Baboon

A zoo baboon people called Mildred
kept holding her hand out to get fed.
When she showed her behind,
I then wished I were blind.
It was hideous, bulbous and red.

Ye Olde Shoppe still stands on twelfth street
surviving despite the box stores.
The owners never miss a beat
always willing to hand out treats
to children who come through the doors.

Deception

Hand in hand and
Eyes to eyes,
Promises unending
As if from the heart,
Pregnancy struck
Then hand out of hand
And eyes apart from eyes
Leaving the girl in stark anguish...

Looking Into Death's Eyes

Death is knocking on my door
I sit alone in shadows of solitude
He opens the door and slowly
Approaches reaching his skeletal
Hand out to take me away
Except I have a revolver for life
He looked at it, before the bullet clears

Premium Member Hunger Sleeps Standing

Listen to poem:
Hunger sleeps standing,
leaning against time,
Its door is ajar,
wanting and waiting,
for the fast to lift.
Can't miss the hand-out
when it comes,
from one hand held-out giving,
to one hand held-out receiving,
both awake and aroused.

Heineken

The smell of Heineken is in the air
where is it at... tell me where!
I love the taste for some reason
I love the way it goes down so smooth
I love the way hardly no one I know feels the same
I guess its an acquired taste, I hand out no blame

to have the world

swinging
wildly

flying
by the seat

the universe
lining up to
hand out opportunities

The Hand Named Love

There is a hand out there
and it is named Love;
don't be alarmed,
for she is a lovely hand and she smiles at you,
yet I can't find her to save my life.
If you find that hand called love,
please could someone shake it for me,
yes- please shake it for me.

Tame the Lady

Tame the Lady Society.
Make her hand out moments of goodness for Heaven's scoreboard.
She gives a chance for all to see their shining moments come to pass.
When looking to a distant shore her real love can never be ignored.

Dark Angel

Dark angel clothed in vivid black
Rises above on shadowed land
Has a hand out ready to hack
Dark angel clothed in vivid black
Sheds no tears and turns its back
Has no regrets and bares no shame
Dark angel clothed in vivid black
Rises above on shadowed land
