Expect
Innocent you are
truth tho' only by you
for where i leave and hug you
and forget once i left thee
much i see remain haar
for when i dive and bear
sought respect not any nor none
you expect more than any
more than I...

After a Storm
After a storm

 There was a storm in the bay,
 blue waves crashing ashore
and flooded the coastal road-
Today the bay is calm but look
 at sea, it is grey anger
doesn’t becomes it.
The Haar is coming in a shawl of mist covers
the cargo ships
that moves lazily on a temporary tranquillity....

My Alles
My blou bul “girl”
Sy gee my die “thrill”
Sy is die ene,
Sy het die mooste bene.
Die een vir wie ek lewe.
Sy is my alles.
Baie beter as Jacque Kallis
Die rede hoekom ek slaap,
En opstaan in die oggend.
Ek sal haar die wereld gee,
Saam met die groot blou see.
Haar van is Kyle.
Sy het die pragtigste smile....

Aeroponic
Look it's there, posing haar,
quite lofty an fair, nerve taking air;
hushed breeze only by you;
how wonderful thou care.

To spin an fin in vines bin,
an let thy heart pulse in hin;
To speak an write an start a fight
chug upon what puzzle i am in,
an flurr like air to fins mine gold;
from about to finish and hold
skips away from my bold air
how lucky a-holic air
i fear of e're....

Geskeide Kleuter
Geskeide Kleuter

Pappa, my pappa – Het jy my mamma lief?
Hoekom bly jy hierso nou?
Vertel my asseblief?

Hoekom het my mamma nou
‘n ander man gekry? Is hy iets van my?
Sal hy haar nou vashou?

Ek wil nie meer by mamma bly –
dis lekker hier by jou
Het jy iemand anders? Dalk ‘n ander vrou?

Watter huis is dan my plek?
Waar pas ek die prentjie in?
Is ek jou kind, is ek? Is ek?

Ek wil jou hê -
	Hoe gaan ons mamma sê?...

Pandemic Morning
Pandemic Morning

It has been raining in the night
the haar lingers in the bay, but I can see
clouds breaking up,
the sky hides the nascent sun.
Morning coffee is a must.
The air is chilly
he leaves the terrace.
He looks out of the window
in his study and looks at a subdued street
suffering under the pandemic.
It is a sad moment of the day
like it was hesitant to begin.
Then he sees green shoots on a tree
and knows he will live
and love a bit longer....

Die Reptiel Vrou - the Reptile Woman
Die reptiel vrou
Het my alweer geflous
Met my gedeel, haarself ontbloot,
en toe
Die bitter gif gespoeg

Dit vloei uit my bors uit, deur my are
Verander my bloed - haar bloed
Word swart, taai, en koud
Soos haar hart

***

The reptile woman
Has fooled me again
Shared with me, exposed herself
and then
Spat out the bitter venom

It flows out of my chest, through my veins
Changes my blood - her blood
Becomes black, sticky, and cold
Like her heart...

A Poets Thought -I-
Thoughts Gachalard emeralds forms one's inner precious
Giving a unique sense of glamour an sight
chisel'd sculpture call;
showing inner skills devious
varnished tints on canvas;
grasp one's own tenacious light
smoke mist haze an haar;
cuddle thou scarfs textured delight
immortality aspects bravery;
overcomes all bounds an matches
roaring thunder and cracks in clouds;
inspire th' giant fire inside
how thou art a poets thought
to hide yet remain in thy lot...
