Banshee

Entombing the scream
into my body to hide
the banshee
for the sake of guarding
this terra incognita;
the peacetime of ours.

The Color Green

Shining in envy
Propelling from sickness held
All Nature carries
Guarding Irish traditions
We take this color lightly

Premium Member Life's Prisms

Life’s prisms reflect,
your many faces.
Rainbow coloured images
mirrors of your soul
guarding your secrets are
Kaleidoscopic treasures.

To An Anonymous Little Miss

Continue fearing the Father above;
Self-guarding as would a real dove,
Your girl's innocence which snakes
May bite and tear like stolen cakes.

And a big belly

Beard guarding
His face

Studying his hands
Unobserved

Beware of Dog

My
Master
knows
I'm
faithful
and
true
In
guarding
his
house
day
and
night,
I
bark
at
the
unknown
and
unfamiliar
And
run
after
'he
thieves
on
sight.

Steely-eyed
tight-lipped
she mouthed the words
'It's over'
twice,
so they'd sink in all the way
no tear in her eye
nor gulp in her throat
guarding her pounding heart
as she cleaved his

I Guard My Heart

A lost but profound soul.
A winding road tries to take me away.
Under the bridge of my feelings
Is where I stay.
Guarding my heart
from the likes of you.
Protected and safe,
not hurt again by you.

We are nothing but the guests to whom God has extended His hospitality

For that, we ought to be guarding and revering nature's universality!

Duty Done

Warily watching, panning.
One meercat sharply scanning,
Gallantly guarding buddies
From all the big bad hoodies.
Falcons flying, cats hunting,
sneaky snakes, wild boars grunting.
Duty done, feeding time fun!

Triple Haiku

in your back pocket
you put everything I give
you sat on my heart

in your chest pocket
you hold the one that you love
guarding with your heart

and still I remain
like the fool that I am
naive is your heart

Spitting On Own Face

Law is like the Sun and Moon in trust,

Guarding people's rights and interest,

Some walked taking the law in hands one Dusk,

Going beyond bounds in their possible best,

At dawn, some deaths and handsome wealth lost!

Guarding

socks on the floor
trailing through the room
two pair towels and t shirts
dirt stained
happy laughter from the bedroom
music
shouting
Shelia guards the door, tail tip wagging
she's got her girls where she wants them.
