'intricate Steps'

one by one
intricate steps were taken 
guarding against the frailty
my bruised heart displayed--
teaching it to beat slowly
unified with yours, now healed

This is an interesting little poem, Wilma. I especially liked you last two lines, teaching oneself to be in unison with another by just slowing it down!
