Broken windows, broken doors, holes in the walls, glass on the floors.
Two broken people with two broken hearts, maybe these two are better off apart.
For broken wings make it hard to flyand not all broken things heal with time.
For broken is not the true finality but in my case a very sad reality.
Still in the end I will be as good as new knowing I will never be as broken as you.

The key got stuck inside the lock
Securing our son's door. 
We turned and twisted but
It wasn't budging anymore.

The locksmith took a bit of time
But finally arrived
Since we were, from that entrance,
Most annoyingly deprived.

He nailed the problem 1 - 2 - 3
(The cylinders were jammed)
And now the door is good as new, 
Just waiting to be slammed.

That we really can't debate

And they will never

For taming the fire is only

Sweet sounds drifting through the air, 
causing happiness everywhere.
Flowers bloom and sunshine shows, 
all happiness seems to glow.
Adults and children join and gather,
the air is filled with joyful chatter.
Birds are chirping and skies are blue,
everything is perfect, good as new.
Picnics on the fresh, green grass,
everyone toasts with a glass.
Songs and dances through the night, 
everything seems to be just right.

we're all a big happy family....

POWERLESS


Cleansing my fridge  -
Old , cold and unplugged  -  dead
White was its original color
Now stained with marks from the past
Nothing is forgotten,  nothing is hidden
All decay is preserved in the cold
Each mark remains as it was
Nothing escapes my attention, my judgement
Take it  apart, scour everything,
Put it back together,  good as new.

Cleansing  my soul is more difficult
Stains cannot be removed
All is preserved, exposed for judgement
Not in my power to renew it...
