where Eagles dare
the golden horizon seen...
man weary from war.

where Eagles dare
humanity in conflict...
such is intellect.

where Eagles dare
per ardua ad astra...
folly of mankind.

AFRICAN SUNSET

Watching the sun sinking into a golden horizon,
My heart’s glad as I watch the evening sky siphon,
The scorching heat from an African day,
Giving reprieve to all life that may,
Rest until the morrow, now a day older and wizen!...

Hummingbird
Softly dance with brilliance
across a golden horizon
on this cascading night-
to wrap the shadows
around the verdant prairie
where stars come out to play,
dangling upon night's carpet
as I listen to hummingbird warbling.

Amazing Views
Beyond the golden horizon she dwells
lightening up more than just a dream
shadows teasingly move
along with the mountains
playing out tantalizing possibilities
where into my vision she'll lie

Darkness descends with
submissive amends
love just a heartbeat away
passions entwined
ethereal oils float by long
before the dewdrops subside...

Premium Member Sailor Boy
Fearless sailor boy, the wide open seas are calling,
As the whistles of thrushes, when no one is talking.
Royal destiny and daring, has led you here this day,
And deep thirst for adventure, will sweep you away!

Always your heart has known, one day you'd set sail,
Into the golden horizon, where contentment prevails;
But the tears you leave behind, has caused you sighs,
Someday you'll be returning, as true love never dies!...

I Wonder How It Will Be
I wonder how it will be ,
The silence as it echoes,
The waves slapping the ground,
The cold breeze dancing all around,
The trees as they whooshed and talked,
The Sun as it stitched a golden horizon,
Finally retiring from it's monotonous job.

What a magical moment it will be,
As an instinctive smile creeps within.
When stress and pressure be replaced,
By satisfaction and glee,
I wish I could experience this daily.
