Premium Member Beach Traffic
The THUNDERING HERD
of beach goers,
like bison of the hunt.
Echoes of Doppler
caterwauling down the two lane.
Each one,
dodging, weaving,
horns blowing,
vie to be first.

Premium Member I Do Not Even Like These People
I spy the usual overly animated party goers
Their finery makes me suddenly remember
I back away from the keyhole so others can enter
my heart leaps with happiness as I turn away
hoping the boss will not catch me before I reach the street
office Christmas parties are the worst kind of torture...

Home Work
This World is going to be restarted
Sooner the schools ready to reopen
Asked to get closed all school goers
Distanced from schools from all corners
Some kids may not send back to schools
Nancies to take in hand new set of tools
Edisons to teach what are learning norms
Learn to earn not but to live, from homes...

Premium Member Nasty Climate Zealots Party

Devious Davos party- goers, make us feel guilty and bad.

The game is to control you, oh my, you have been bad!

“Net Zero,” is a totally unachievable, unrealistic goal

Their purpose is dominant, complete, absolute world control!

Egyptian Boulders
Zulu drum
Egyptian people gather
Chant for freedom
Sesame seed music
Power to the soul
Amazing marketplace
Amazing fortress
Military gather power
Zulu drum
Mosques chant
Church goers pray
Lonely Wolf cries out
The Pyramids shake
Large question mark on the future
One thing can change they say
Egyptian boulders...

Premium Member Music Starts My Little Church
Music starts my little church
And bids us goers "come forward" -
Timid and cleansing at first -
   Bringing voices to one accord

Then her voice waxing loud
   And the piano's tempo
Make the atmosphere bound
   To become a crescendo

When our song meets Him above
   And the sweet chorus repeats.
Did such music greet Asaph
At the foot of heaven's gates?...

Celibacy
I see her, glowing
Amongst the church-goers for
She’s too beautiful in her Sunday’s dress
That she became the fixation
Of my brown eyes
She sings, with harmony, the psalms of praises
To me she confesses her sin
But I cannot set her free, from judgment
Yet surely, I can make her happy
Till the last days end
Perhaps I should….
Let her know of my own inequity...

Should Overcome Stress Sos
Should Overcome Stress SOS

Here is an example of Horn Haiku

Should overcome stress; (5)

In sermon this will address; (7)

While church would impress. (5)

Jim Horn

Stress Stress To Impress

In sermon are things I must address;
Will overcome stress that you stress;
With God agree;
He set  me free;
Church goers hearing me did impress.

Ode To Ducks
Walking past the zoo
and they have a giant
poster of a duck hung up.
Surely there are more qualified
animals to display to
convince would-be zoo
goers that they need to
spend money to see wildlife.
Just a moment ago
I saw 8 ducks at the lake
on the way here.
2 of them even quacked
and ruffled their feathers in
a fury.
The best things in life
are free and have
webbed feet....

Waiting For Rain
The waft of petrichor filling nostrils
The drizzle sending a cold chill
Toddlers with paper boats rushing towards puddles
Declaration of holiday makes children chuckle
Office-goers ambling with umbrellas
        Octagenarians reminiscing with novellas
Farmers look unto rain as God's gift
        Ombrophobians flee in a jiff

Ample RAIN causes GAIN!
Surplus RAIN causes PAIN!...

Premium Member Vacation At the River
River never sleeps by the city, nightlights highlight the dance craze faze of evening party-goers upon blue waves; swimmers sailboats descend during days. Time speeds by as children thrill yelling splashing elation-filled river walk’s, shopping sprees raking in green dollar bills; folks enjoying summer grills, need tummy pills by vacation’s end.

August
AUGUST

The brakes of summer
Slowly get pumped
August is here
Tomatoes are plump

Schools ‘round the corner
Autumn near by
August is here
Season’s collide

Gardens grow fruitful
Leaves look luscious
Soon they’ll be painted
With natures brush’s

A paradise for picnics
Beach goers too
Air’s not so humid
Or sticky like glue

August is here
Relax and enjoy
Soon we’ll eat turkey
Then kid’s get their toys

Living In a Hostel
Battery hens
Caged in and made to try and fit in
Give us a break
Freedom is scarce

The world aghast
Nothing but routine, disordered order and disappointment

Imagine rain clouds moving past
Pretty for outsiders
But inside is dark, full of woe

Normal is not normal
Life, unimaginable by workaholics and city goers

Carry on with your day
Amidst the pain
Find joy
Amongst the sorrow and disorientation

Stay in tact
Let go, but moving on is unnecessary...

A Docent Tour
A docent leads a group around
To highlight what’s on view
With information most
Museum-goers never knew.

If he or she’s a good one,
Your attention will be held
And perhaps to more exhibits
You may therefore be compelled.

Though passionate about the job,
Most docents don’t get paid.
Quite often, they’ve retired
From another stock in trade.

We’re lucky for these volunteers
Who happily enthuse
Sharing facts about displays of which
We’ve not the slightest clues....
