For lunch, do you know what Jesus ate
on the very day that He turned eight?
Barley bread and goat cheese,
onions, greens, and chickpeas,
and for dessert ~ a honey-dipped date.

Goat Cheese Boat
There once was a man,
Who carved him a boat.
It was out of the cheese,
That he milked from his goat.
The first one he failed,
So he made him a note.
Never use Swiss,
Because it won’t float!...

A World Thy Shades of Gray
Poet’s love to eat French bread,
Goat cheese and drink
From the same jug of wine
If we write this poem, with
Fresh eyes, paper and pen,
Then, we shall cross those
Black and white lines into
A world, thy shades of gray...

Stopped in a winery.
Splurged on chilled bottle of
sparkling Moscato wine,
salted, crispy crackers,
soft goat cheese to nibble.
Shared stories, goals, plans and
splendid time with daughter.

The Goat Cheese Craving Disease
A clever work indeed,
But you must really need,
Either a doctor or a goat,
It's up to you to vote,

In this poem you come acrostic,
To shepherds as diagnostic
As a woman a tad too caustic,
Of their herd's fruit a bit bombastic

I think they see with herder's eye,
You had too much Shepherd's Pie!!

Ha! Ha!...

Brooklyn
Brooklyn

Salt beef with onion
sandwiches.
Goat cheese made
near the wailing wall
The waiter
is a scientist.

Intelligent eyes
behind thick-lensed glasses
do not dare to leave a tip.
The burden of my ancestors
weighed heavy on my mind.

The chicken soup was excellent
I shan´t return
Before
Palestine is a sovereign state...

Premium Member Yummy Goat Cheese
You will love my secret recipe, she assured me.
It has goat cheese.
I kept silent.
And lots of good healthy vegetables.
I thought goat cheese sounded yucky.
Now she throws in vegetables?
I do not eat vegetables.
Politeness forces me to stay until she has mixed the concoction.
Not bad, I think.
But nothing I will ever eat again.
Too much work, and too many vegetables.
The goat cheese was tasty though.
That was a sweet surprise....
