one day the jungles last best hope

I Have It
i have it
like Dave's name
a wonder gadget
that polishes sorrow
a flower sobs
nothing remains salt
rappelling through trees
seeding my womb
nothing remains globs
anywhere anymore anytime...

TRIBUTE TO COLLARDS

Great green globs
Grimy messy mound
Never finer found
Smack, drool, sniff
Knife, plate, spoon
Taste, savor, share
Stuff, sweet, sleep

Premium Member Dog Hair In My Omelets
Dog hair in my omelets.
Dog hair in my sleeve.
Dog hair in my carpets.
I can barely breathe.

Dog hair in my hamburger.
Dog hair floating in the air in every way.
We are eating globs of dog hair
Loving this big galoot more every single day....

Go Bone Yourself Babylon
Man, trying to come into some sort of grips
About the cow crap amid it all: this life it's time....
Dip down and take your lashes boy; in globs be sweat
Dire regret russian roulette philosophical pet from the intensity ?
Doomed was groomed I'll take broom where nailed his cross her child's cost....

Premium Member Since You'Ve Been Gone
Since you’ve been gone,
Nothings the same
No loud TV
Or football game
I have a smile
And not a frown
My toilet seat
Is always down
No dirty boxers
On the floor
Or towels hanging
From the door
No smelly boots
And shoes that stink
No globs of toothpaste
In my sink
I now realize
What I had
And honestly
This isn’t bad....

Rolls November 9th 2012
Rolls of underappreciated,
despised,
untrusted,
unwanted globs of wasted space lies beneath

Rolls of ugliness,
sadness,
deceit,
tragedy,
nostalgic fluff swimming underneath these

Rolls of hate,
weakness,
abandonment,
scrutiny,
dignity left to die under all these
Rolls.

More to love, more to hate
Even more to underappreciate
Lie to my face, kick my backside
Take from me until I can’t hide...

Premium Member The Alley Outside My Window
There are globs of hard snow topped on the small
Green bushes running alongside the alleys between the houses.
The branches that obstruct my view of that alley are still, quiet.
But I can see the ground is caked over in icy snow,
A tan SUV sits on the other end of the alleyway,
On a suburban road really.
A green SUV passes by.
A green truck passes by.
See now I have lost the thread.
Just watching things pass by....

Premium Member Lynette Loves the Seventies
Lynette was attached to the ambiance of the seventies.
She had a shag rug with large loops and flecks of silver.
Bulb like globs floated in her six lava lamps.
She replaced her accelerator pedal with a weird bare foot pedal.
Her house featured peace signs, happy faces, and free love slogans.
My favorite piece was a Volkswagen bus planter that yelled “perky”.
But in actuality, I liked the entire set up – her car and her house....

Premium Member Winter Comfort Foods
Spicy hot chili
on a frozen winter day
Nothing better
to keep the chills away

Mac and cheese
melted globs of cheese gooey goodness
seconds please

Hot soup hits the spot
to warm you up its tops
Yummy yum savory broth
warms you up a lot

Beef stew with a rich sauce
on a cold winters day is boss
The aroma makes you lick your chops

Lip smacking tummy rubbin
finger licking mouth shoven
Comfort foods from pot or oven
warms the body home love'n...

Blood of Me
I looked at a drop of my blood under a microscope
It was a mistake. I should have not looked;
I should never have looked so close at myself.

I was not red but gray, and I was but globs of gray
and I- the bland globs had corners, imperfections
and the imperfections had imperfections
and I was not whole,
these globs, of me, were held apart from each other
I could see nothing between them--
I was as tiny moons –
lost in a vast cosmos--
cold and empty....

Evening Enchantment
Dusk jiggles and stirs evening enchantment.
A crystalline glass of intoxicating twilight
in hues of yellow, orange, magenta and blue.
                Globs of honey-dipped cumulus floating
and garnished swirls of minty mist rising above.
Every drop is spilling out immense pleasure
that transcends me into euphoric freedom
and my boredom drowns in it as I drink it all.
