Three Forces At Work

Ethereal jade
  Incandescent virgin brine

A Poem

A poem is a hug
that fuses
two bodies into one.

A poem is a kiss
that rejuvenates
a broken heart.

A poem is a prayer
written with the ink
of a lover's tears.

Shaking Lost Phantoms Seas

the clay walls

of the bookstore

drunk with know

-ledge feel the creeping

sin of life

perched down the tree

opens its eyes

in the dark room

(almost four)

A.M. the urge

to close its eyes

to the tail

shaking lost phantoms

seas faces melt

vision fuses flakes

of shadow calmly coaxing

the sun to rise….

Tiny Winks

Tiny Wink's
Doth quizzical minds think
That when the eye's blink
All is forgiven
And revenant vice
Is a price worth paying
For childish muse's
And tempered fuses
So look away
If you're hard of pleasing
Once you've reached your ceiling
Because if 2016 has proved
Nothing else
Our Towers are leaning
What is the meaning

I Am the Zombie

What has one become?
Do as the monster chooses
Mirrored in the eyes

Where did it come from?
Short circuits and blown fuses
A malfunctioned mind

What does it want?
The daemon of abuses
No reason or rhyme

How will it end up?
One or the monster loses
Madness sublime

When will it be done?
A zombie's scars and bruises
Will kill him in time...

Electrifies Me

Motor instinct wires my being,
Impulse driven though the days,
Elemental your smile impinges
Electronic footprints on neural pathways.
Finger raised to still these lips,
Spark tips to foster hush,
Warm humour descends its voltage
Breath charged of static rush.
The coil of all your thoughts,
Fuses all that you may be,
This generating force
Electrifies me...

Boom and Boom Go Out

Boom And Boom Go Out

Not a person place or thing
Not a sight or touch or odor
More like a sound
And a perception
When Boom comes out
Place two in a room together
Turn off the lights
In the dark they sound the same
Booms sound alike
If you hear a sizzle or movement
Remove the fuses
They don’t like the sun
But with some coaxing and persuasion
They will go out

Up in Smoke

Our ceiling fan went up in smoke
But didn’t catch on fire.
It seemed okay before it broke;
The culprit was a wire.

It happened fast and we got scared;
My husband flipped the fuses.
I guess we’re never quite prepared
When we’re whom bad luck chooses.

The burning smell took hours to fade;
A new fan will replace it
With safer bulbs, yet I’m afraid
I might not quite embrace it.

Love's Battle

I'm going crazy
Not because I'm lazy
As some would think
With their timid blinks

I find no solace in this place
Of mental waste
Tap dancing around hot fuses
Searching for certain muses

I shall wander around in dark places
Forever wasteful
Dwindling opportunities to be grateful
I find myself in danger

Losing myself
In twenty years of wealth
Knowing what I want, who I am
All lost in love's battle

House For Sale, 'As-Is'

A muddy floor
       a creaky door
     The paint is peeling
       two gaps in the ceiling

     The grass is brown
       tree branches down
     Fence gate's rusty
       furniture's dusty

     Windows don't close
       electric wires exposed
     Fuses constantly blow
       the fridge is not cold

Realtor held an open house 'as-is'
       Not one offer ~ That's 'show-biz'

A Glimpse of Eternity

True lovers savour those moments
When their world fuses
With the spirit of the universe
Their bodies locked in close communion
Aquiver with the tingle
Of every kiss and caress
Responding eagerly ,yielding
Surrendering fully
To the mounting passion of their intimacy
Until exploding in ecstasy
Aligning them momentarily,
Every element of their being fully electric,
With the spirit of the world

The Uninvited (Revised)

Bedded, supine, meditations probe.
Blasted retinal blurs strobe.
Fusion fuses non-images of nonentities
cosmiconsciuosness merges, purges.
Between beginnings,
astral travelers ego remnants roam;
escaping fusion, forming schisms,
uninvited entities race
down umbilical cords of light
reconnecting, self trace.
Reconstituted limbs paw,
brightness blinds,
blasted retinal blurs strobe..strobe
travelers return home.

Tic Tic

Listen to poem:
we’re all ticking time bombs
with activated fuses
sometimes doctors
will sit us down
and assign us some disease
ominously reminding us
about the ticking of our clock
but in the meantime
other bombs go off around us
often without warning

why would we need
reminders to live life
to its fullest
over and above all
remembering to ignore
that annoying ticking

Sin

A cry for stability,
in a world where the
frayed edges of its sanity
steadily unravel,
is lost
as a
sigh only fuses with air

Everything once held
dear,
is disoriented and
peace is only
but a memory.

This is the
world we live in,
that the human
race, so kindly,
besmirches
the glory of God everyday.

This damaged
creation
was made to be beautiful,
flawless
but evil subtly smuggled itself
into God's extraordinary
design.

We call it sin.

Lingering Thoughts

Dark ink swelling in my eyes, Holding back the pain I holds so near, These lingering thoughts of empty promises...wish time could merely stand still, Heart stained with illusions of love from another, Tossed aside as if just a simple toy, Whom is to judge my soul but only to be satisfied of your own sorrow, You can not break me for I am already broken, You can not claim me for I am not property to be bought, In the end we are all fuses waiting to go off.

Mother

A mother is such a treasure
And she gives great pleasure
At home it is a great delight
Her radiance a bright light.

Burden difficult to bear
But how to me she is so dear
How she fuses that I should eat
She declares I look mean and tired.

Without a response
Advice she sponsors
On how to bear life's many worries
Though impossible seems her stories
I have them all true
To me, mother is such a great treasure
She brings with her great pleasure.
