Celebration
I burst forth
From the womb of earth
A thin trickle
Rain’s foster child
With every shower
I grew in size
I sped through rocks
And gnarled roots wide
I smoothened stones
I caressed grass
I paved my way in gushes and splash
I frothed and foamed
As I jumped and danced
I swirled and whirled
Around reeds and sand
I know not
How long I will be
So every moment
I celebrate me....

Cappuccino
Seduced by the air
The Mastrena pulls me near
enchanted by beans

Grinding espresso
screech foam frothed to warm bubbles
Stream caught entangled

Pour at an angle
Chasing rising to the edge
Tepid in hand, sip.
-Ems'ilverscripts.

-Poet's note-
Wanted to test out a haiku, the allure of it as it tickling my palate, warmed and cozy simply a favourite; dense cappuccino

Thank you for reading, hope your taste is tingling....

Misty Day
Today the mist rules, stolen horizon
in a merge of sea and dank air, sky
confiscated, parcelled in a grey
patination like macular degrade.

Fields and village prematurely aged
to lie in a state of transience,
shrouded in mourning funereal garb
fashioning weighted reverend silence.

Even the rising tide treads quiet
in its take as the pacing frill
of frothed surf whispers a rhythmic lullaby
to the drowsing day beneath its blanket....

Midnight Hunger
The rumbling sound,
While I lie low to the ground-
Calling upon the cuffs of sleep -
To keep me in the jails deep-
It is a wave that strikes;
A hungry tummy to get a slice,
Of bread,
Of breath.
With a frothed mouth,
The emptiness goes south.
In this darkness, craving for food,
I remember the nuts unchewed.
With my head under the pillow, I yawn;
And the stomach enzymes spawn.
Midnight hunger is disaster,
That needs to be served like a master....

Agatized Memory
Straw sandals
White sand
Holding each thunderstorm
cupped in my hand
Burnt on the beach
by my own strong command
Crisp in my view of the sea.
Agatized coral
Pocketed salt
tumbled and frothed
from the depths born anew
Pressured by currents
'till crystal shards grew
soon to be baubles in windows
I take the shore home
each time I visit
I fleece the beach
for a memory trinket
Winter defiant
Sunburn triumphant
I am a figment of sea tides and ebb....

Orange juice with ice chips,
Then..a nice warm shower.
Dreaming I am in Hawaii,
All frothed up in jasmine gel!
I further my exotic morning and
It's really just before dawning.
My hair held up by satin gardenias
Cuddled in an aquamarine soft robe.
I glide to my table, as soon as I am able
And with dishes divine..
Have scrumptious coconut yogurt, so divine.
In China dishes,sparkling rainbow crystalline.
