Love's Inferno 2k11
Decending well into its inferno,
A realm of beauty, a furnace of love;
Not the frightfully "Dante's Inferno".
When hearts are ablaze; What colors of love!...

cackling creepy cantankerous caustic crone
frightfully ferocious, fanatical, and I’m all alone
I hide in a boot, going as far as I dare go.
She shoves in her foot. Immediate woe!...

Drifting darkly, memories swirling upward
snarled in spiders' frightfully webs spun, hoping
peace comes soon with fierceness. Her anti-venom
saves me from bug bites.

Through the Sky
A
Bird
Cartwheeling
Diligently,
Ever
Frightfully
Gaining
Height
In
Jumbled
Knightly
Loops,
Moaning
Never
Once,
Perhaps
Queenly
Reigned
Sky
Took
Unnecessary
Vices
Wherever
Xiang
Yankee
Zaps.

Little Brother
I am not brilliant
Or heroic
Or frightfully quick
Or connected.
Just beggarly
And bled for
And brothered
By Betlehem's King.
He came to us
And blessed by the Lake
Hounded and hung
And risen
For my puny sake.
Its a good thing
I now walk in
With Him....

I am frightfully fanciful,
My feather has a flourish
I am feeling foxy

My whorls and loops
Showing my stuff
Strutting

Yes I am a show off
Proudly and magnificently
Not everyone can do this
But I can

I am fancy
I write with a flourish
I am beyond reproach....

Deutsch Sprache
DEUTSCH SPRACHE

I spent years
Learning German
      eating ginger snaps
Sitting straight
Thinking orderly
      ….sometimes

Snapping out crisp verbs and nouns
       ...sometimes

But--
All I remember
Is frightfully crazy

Sexualgymnastik

Is not a word often used
In polite conversation....

No Limit
Life
Grins
Wildly
Frightfully
Laughter dreams loudly.
Reality does not matter.
Uninhibited souls find new direction; minds scream.
There is no limit to the gambit of emotions a man can feel…or a woman.

An Unexpected Visitor
A well spoken Martian came calling last week
He popped in the house for a chat
Though I wasn’t displeased
When he coughed and he sneezed
I was miffed when he swallowed my cat
He said “ I am frightfully sorry,
It isn’t like me to do that
You must think me a hog
For I much prefer dog
Or a rodent like rabbit or rat”...

The full moon is nigh...
Time for the ghosts and goblins
        To come and join us.

The black cat walks on
the path that we shall not cross
~ that path is bad luck.

Those seeking candy
    disguise themselves frightfully
~ scare it out of us.

Witches on broomsticks
    flying across the full moon

Premium Member Being a Bee
Listen to poem:
To be a bee

is not to be becoming
as pollen dust
defies the brush off.

is not to be becalmed
as the buzzer is never silent,
never switched to off.

is not be idle
as bees are frightfully busy
all of the time.

is not to be solitary,
as hives where bees live,
always swarm with bees.

Bees are never asked
'to be or not to be' questions
about being bees....

The Crook
It’s half past midnight and there is again an existing creep

Visually obscured but couldn’t get a sleep

Frightfully terrified trying horribly to get a peep

Scared of looking even but have to breathe deep

The dogs all over began to woof

Jittered nervously could hardly even move

Suddenly cringed but have to have a proof

At last, of all people it was her all along, the crooked goof...

Premium Member Poor Scarecrow Creature
the patched up scarecrow has the saddest smile
You can find him at the corner of the ten foot mile
I wondered what happened to this poor little creature.
He is horrid-looking, a frightfully pathetic feature.

Grandma’s eyes were slipping when she made him.
He is lucky to have a smile said my evil twin.
I sometimes sit and watch this scarecrow toss and spin.
Feeling sorry that she made him during her dementia whim....

My, the frightfully threatening roll of the foreign tongue inexplicable, rapid fire shrapnel to the unaccustomed ear proceeding, ever forward in an unintelligible tirade. Ears ache for understanding Eyes strain for common ground no single sigil or symbol recognizable. My Lord, to be so alone, so lost so must we journey, infants all, landing without fan fair on distant shores, seeking only love and acceptance.

Achoholism
when i sleep i fa into slumber
then i awake with what seem
seems to be the worst headache
the walls cave in
i need to satisy my hunger
im in my own hell of demons
no need for heaven
somewhere theres a place for me between
a world thats not forseen
whats on my mind
a terriable fate thats left behind
when i sleep at night
the walls creep in my demons insight
though frightfully its a sin
sometimes its just there i have to give in...

In the tree sits the blackest of all cats Evil companion of the dark lady Dousing fear, the cat makes animals scat He hisses as she comes quite silently Full of powers from this Halloween tree The owl hoots above them both, frightfully The witch laughs, encouraged quite blissfully She lights the fire underneath the cauldron All parts are there, now must boil anxiously Power for her soul that was the bargain

Premium Member I Went To the Zoo With Family, But Wanted To Go Alone
the malagasy giant jumping rats
look at me as if

to tell me it'll be alright in
the end

but i try to ditch the family
and run off to the insect house

overhear a family wanting a refund because
the aquarium has no octopus

there's no banter
in the primate enclosure

the ape looks frightfully annoyed

and i'm trying to get me mate
into dressing gowns

willing to dead name once
a week

the family find me
amongst the anteaters...

Keeper of Death
How mesmerizing,
the flame that dances before my eyes
How entrancing,
as it flickers in
its provocative ways

So bright, so beautiful,
Yet so erotically evil
Consuming all that
gets in its way
How false that the
flame can be tame

A substance of life,
and keeper of death
Acting out its part in
the lives of all
Magical, helpful, yet
painfully deadly

How odd the flame is,
its characteristics frightfully
similar to those of... Love !...

Claire
Introspective, delightfully coy,
her shyness enchanted my heart,
she wandered along in her own private world
quite unwilling to ration a part

of her intricate mind full of poems
and novels so frightfully arcane
they would challenge a D.Phil from Oxon.
their mangled motifs to explain.

Then I discovered her Achilles heel,
the way to steal one little kiss;
it was Rilke, he was the key to her soul,
rigor mortis to absolute bliss!...
