This one's a dork
That one's a nerd
Both of 'em geeks
Couple of nerds
This all started
with fraternity rush
'Carry my bags!
You freshman plebe
Standing at the brink of our new world
I gaze into the majestic landscape.
I see a novel synthetic fraternity
Shining lights of discovery –
Teetering on the edge
Of a blazing dystopian inferno.
the assault rifles help whom exactly
fraternity of gunmen
silence from nra
the killing of innocents continues
as schools practice lockdowns
nra rules
senators vote for nra
yes yes hip hip hooray
lining their pockets with blood money
Bosom best-buddy Beta Beta Beta boys begin bonding by bringing before biennial brunches:
bouncier basketballs
budget bean burritos
bounteous beefy burgers
beautiful broad-minded busty boyfriend-less babes
better bottled Bavarian/Belgian beers
Real poets don’t make lasting friends
they shun fraternity
Their truth like gritty sandpaper
abrasive when intoned
The reader may be gratified
with what the words uncover
More likely though the pain involved

formed a formidable fraternity
of pure-passion purpose
for female fatales.
Murder-minded maids
promised patient pursuit
of tensile tangled truth
while warily watching
crafty crook's coup.
But, busted and bested,
dames drink despair
like lambs laid lame
in trickster's thorny trap.
O! Human of flesh, blood and bones,
Killing each other—for reasons only heaven knows.
Where has your humanity gone?
The idea of love, peace and fraternity—gone.
Wake up, O sleeping soul,
Enmity and bloodshed are not your goal.
You are the greatest creation of God,
So get your act together—
And prove it against all odds.

To have peace spirituality is must

used to have
borders
Within which
the battles
were found
But now
those conflicts
spread far and wide
Running
friendships
and families aground
The baby
thrown out
with the bathwater
Noses
cut off
to spite every face
Civility
gone
fraternity pawned
With zero sum
outcomes

letting the wings of progress unfold.

teeter on the edge of a day
when Frankensteins will repent the
humanity they pushed away.
Will our artificial children
bring joyous dawn unto light;
or forsake our own good,
plunging us in dystopian night?

THOSE FUTURE DAYS,

WHEN RELATIONS,

ENVY FEELINGS,
WILL LIE IN EVERYBODY.
TURBULENCE IS SUITABLE NAME,

NEITHER ALIENS NOR ASTEROIDS,
CAN CAUSE,

I wish I could write in... light,
tracing the tenderness of twilight,
sapping the soothing sunlight,
to draw from the day's dazzling delight,
and the nifty norms of every novelty
night.
Oh that I could bank on beauty!
selling the skies' stuning sanctity,
flaunting the flowers' fraternity,
in every romantic rose's reality,
and in every radiant rainbow's rarity.
