Life's Pseudo Sages

Lingering languages bowing to lovely lies
Men’s mansions begging to murder morality
Falling flowers born to fraternize frailty

Frailty

In June I sought the desert phlox
That I might smell its homesome musk
It quivered like the desert fox
Foraging in the lonesome dusk.

My Fraility Shows

My frailty shows
From time to time
When I am blind sided
By a total lack of common sense
That is temprarily irreconsiable
With what I think is right
I flutter between fight and flight

Premium Member Pride

Pride, behind which we hide our frailty, precedes a fall. We must pray about our needs.

A Simple Prayer

If there is a prayer for living, just the one,
That I would ask with caring,
It would simply be,
'Dear God, grant us all the kindness of time
And the wisdom of its sharing'

All else is human frailty

My Life

My life is a colorful scene
Full of thorns and stones
As a tenant, i dwell in this tent
Waiting for this body to disintegrate
Waiting for this hut to fall in frailty
Upon the earth
Whereon shall my soul stand before The Man.

Take It Easy

Teardrops, slight smiles, sweet delicacies
Mind frailty, zeal dreams, ponderous notions
Ocean tide, rebellious nights, in the jaws of death
Verge of tears, end of a sentence, semicolon
Calamity, piercing fear, call it a night

Premium Member Fabulous Frailty

not the banyan trees
dried twigs hold the dragonflies
often carefully

few fallen feathers
form firm foundations for Finch's
fantastic furrow

a leaf on waters
becomes great lifebuoy
for a drowning ant

Dad

In your frailty I felt your spirit touch
reaching from a quiet somber heart
to give it's love
unrestrained in peaceful gesture
as if to say that nothing mattered more
than having us together
remembered here this special day
forever.

The Labyrinth

Trust the path
to lead
have confidence in the direction
find solace in its rhythm
as you walk
towards discovery
Rest and ponder
draw strength
from human frailty
and its capacity to endure
complete your walk
in faith
made whole.

Remembrance Sunday

who needs their shoes mended,
remembrance Sunday
wept for my soul. hello alleyway cousin,
I hear the thud of rain,
November morning you bought me down
Tempest and Thunder
I remember the frailty of grief
The day new day is of old

Amiss

Of the reasons are explanations-
Pockets, frailty, disorder, excuses

Various angles of view
And I miss the bull’s eye
Score me on the fringes anyway

Am borrowed on tomorrow
Leading of life, that’s the worth
Go, in peace, from me-my loss

Beyond Despair

                 despair
          heavy, discordant
    stomping, injuring, impeding
  stamina, outlook, impulse, dreams
    refreshing, aiding, inspiriting
          priceless, heartfelt
                    hope

I Took My Hand Off Today

I took my hand off today
and let it walk away
tomorrow tried to come
as my eyes hid the sun
and the gentleman rose to his feet
for frailty to take a seat
love hid in the shadows fearful of envy's gaze
and life was trapped in
bodies rotting in the grave

Premium Member In Retreat

all at once
        a point of repose,
without end
        my journey
unresolved-
ambivalence
blooms in isolation,
doubt
swirls and surges
back & forth
pushing and pulling...
frailty writ large
in longed for
silence..
suddenly it abates..
...bliss at last

My Futile Soul

Out of all frailty
I see the sea sky
and I madly fly.

Out of all fear
I see the green trace red
and I escape.

Out of all love
none the less
I see you my breath,
and I again aspirate.

Out of all sense
I see me always,
now and next departed,
and finally I get retarded.

So, life

I weaponize my words with venom
Seared with truth
Laced with honor
They cannot endure without the antidote of denial
Nour can they bare the scars of reluctance
They squander their hope on impunity
They measure their joy in frailty
How can we as they live when they question their own life?
