Understanding Height
Look to the horizon
when you want to be in love.
Look below
    and you know yourself
    and your frailties.
Look above,
    and there's always light
    to think of God....

Love Solitaire
Love is a common weather
Covers entire body with feather
Stick to each other like glue
Like a duck to water flow
Like a flower like a dream
LIke leaf in flowing stream
Does not look on its frailties
But rejoice to its victories....

Premium Member Love Will Always
Each new day
brings the dawn
of hope…and for
one who loves,
despite the slope:
our human frailties
(a heart untrue)
or, sadly, a dear
heart having spent
its earthly time)...
if one leaves
the light on
Love will always
find a way back—...

Frailities
and in the light I see it
the frailties of man
contaminating the oceans
pillaging the land
it glistens in the sun
pours down with the rain
clouds of realization
hovering in poisonous haze
these sins will last for centuries
our children's children will pay
for the wanton disregard
of all the things You gave...

when my time
              draws near

remember the path
              I penned

through forests, valleys

ancient yearnings of
             peace, love and faith

forgive my frailties

             and

                 follow

                     your

There Are Faults
There are faults,flaws and frailties
In my character
So don't you think,baby
I'm pure and holy

Beneath my self confident
And defiant outlook on life
Baby,i'm not strong
Provide your shoulders so i may lean on

I'm but a one winged bird
With another limping leg
Let's compliment ourselves
So we may
Run,fly and soar....

Premium Member To Cartoon Or Not To Cartoon
To cartoon or not cartoon?
If you are me, there is no choice.
They parade out of my mind onto pages
Lined pages, pink pages, yellow pages.
Landing up the sides, down the top and along the bottom
It used to drive my teachers mad.
Anyway, they blamed me.
Which always amused me as I recognized their frailties
before I ever drew a cartoon in their classes....

There is fear
when the loss
perceived
greater…
my example
the ego
of youth;

not to be
measured
in quantities
but by frailties--
a small hole
can sink
a ship;

so early-on
we learn
and don armor,
make distances…
strength often
a tactic of the
weak;

God made us
of spirit
perfect and immortal…
yet, Trick-or-treat
we persist
in wearing
our dead....

Staring Fore and Aft By: Tom Wright 5/12/03] We oft stare hinder, knowing that there, lurks only time spent. We embrace in thought those days without birth, while probing their existence. We're cognizant of frailties at discerning the future. We should rather, focus on time at hand for this is all we possess. Time can ne'er be secure beyond today’s moment.

I tumble while staring into your eyes. In hues fitting the month of December. My wandering spirit is rekindled. My frailties break down like puzzles. Originating in the kindness of words. Walk over frozen tears like a blizzard. In echoes of the dazzling effect, Winter nights attract seasonal sadness. Building my own inner radiance.

Premium Member Their Timeless Moment
They lean upon one another
Teetering drunkards
Swaying in dependencies dance
Scrawny limbs clinging to frailties hope
There is a solemnity to their silent passing
An honor in their slow demise
An eerie bagpipe squeal in their movements
It is a privilege to sit among them
Listen to their ring bound stories
Breathe in their ancient scents
Disappear into their timeless moment

The Wars of Sameness
We have much in common,
the same number of limbs
organs, D.N.A., frailties.

Yet there’s still a smidgen,
a pinch of disparity,
just enough difference
for a disagreement.
Enough to possibly instigate
an insoluble conflict,
or a religious feud
between one moron
and another.

Given time, we will surely
find other minor differences,
which will of course insure
that things will keep getting
worse....

Lost in France,
Resting 'neath a simple cross,
Just name,nationality and rank;
Giving of life,was his loss.

At home,
A breaking,aching heart;
A sweetheart's pain;
Her emptiness was another's gain.

In memory fading go
As echoing years slip by,
And still her tears flow;
Vivid yet her anguish sigh.

Forgotten,forfeit and for what?
freedom frailties,fragile,
Such ideas still beguile;
T'was ever thus,a peasant soldier's lot....

Insensate Destruction
Rehearsed words tumble from his tongue capable of vaporizing feelings; then with his briefest smile becomes the redresser once more leaving the object of his words emotionally traumatized: Mind raping at its finest form; Cold-bloodedness runs through his veins colder than any ectotherm; Temperament worse than the worst lacking the slightest compunction; More like reptilian than human this controlling creature thriven on human mental frailties.

Premium Member I Believe In Humanity
I believe humanity wants to be humane.
I believe humanity needs inspiration and hope.
I believe humans love hugging and touching.

I believe hugs are the beginning toward healing.
I believe humanity includes respect, cooperation, and love.
I believe love will heal most of the frailties of humanity.

I believe in hope, goodness and clarity.
I believe in a human’s ability to see the truth, and to feel it.
I believe in humanity’s show of faith, and belief in the world....

Judgement And Eternity
Heaven spare nobody
Fate don't respect status
There's no partiality to all
Justice is due to culprit
Not a blind to innocence
Innovation of law may allow
An stronghold to every choices
God never cease to offer peace
But no room to controversies
Man may go to the extreme
Of friendship with the adversary
God has too spacious to grace
Never cease love to all in display
Remember in all human frailties
There's a judge that weight everything
In the balance of eternity....

Naked and Naïve
Naked and naïve
it’s time to bereave
your bedridden soul
for which ravens toll
You wear cynicism in
on a placid sunny day
melting a turquoise sky
into a saffron souffle
Your derision derides
the emptiness inside
digesting a child’s core belief
with your apocalyptic grief
So filet those frailties
with that phoenix in your fray
by flapping that acrid ash
far, far away
Then bathe in a turquoise sky
on a placid sunny day
as you stand before that child
naked and naïve...

Sorrow
Sorrow fastens upon those who try
Happiness evades all those who cry

The frailties on which life is weakly built
Are felt in the pain of those in conflict

Like a lightning strike it hits us hard
On the hearts our emotions be charred

Nothing stings as of the lovers quarrel
It bites to make your nerves do all but disable

You feel the pain the deep ocean yearning
After a lifetime you continue learning

That trust is tender and scarcely earned
The numbers are few who sorrows can turn....
