Bold is his vision
Bold is his vision
as he navigates curves
Scales mountains, fords streams
with effortless nerve
Behind the mask, a lie
eyes, fountains of tears
Shine, Sincerity! Shield!
the rest of his gear

Olden Cars
Cars in the seventies,
Had character, you see,
Lime green Fords with stripes GT,
Waxed on weekends, thoroughly,
Double Cam exhausts with Mag wheels,
Now bland cars are the deal,
White, black, silver or grey,
Purple or orange cars just drove away!...

The 70s
Body shirts and platform shoes
Discos and push back dos
The Bee Gees Staying Alive
Do you get the Disco jive
Countdown on a Sunday night
The latest tunes brought to sight
Toranas Chargers and Fords
Your choice Australian accord
Clothes so bright there was no hiding
Invitations that were so inviting
The 70s were the decade for me
Still single and so fancy free.

Dramatic Monologue
Winnies First Car Ever
Winnie learned all about fixing motors from her daddy.
She had tuned up six Fords, two Chevys and a Caddy.

Her daddy was delighted, and excited to see his girl enjoy….
Her first car ever; which she treated like her favorite toy....

Last Word Poem - Bitter Now the Fall
BITTER NOW THE FALLbitter now the Fall... Jack Frost cold
squirrels hoarding... burying nuts
jay's... birds... clever... stealing... so bold
listen... squirrel so irate... tuts...
days shorter... moon lights the darkness
ivy... fords shelter from the cold...
birds benefit... dense the foliage
holly bids... welcome to its fold
who teaches this vital knowledge...
days shorter... moon lights the darkness

Map
A fireball red touches pine trees
Tiny flickers peek through gaps
Colors cast upon the low clouds
Never follow a map
What will this day bring forth for all
Will their be sunshine or rain
As the horizon slowly changes
Into lives can come pain
The day presented enjoyment
Our family time was warm
The meal shared delicious farm foods
Love fords prodigious storms
My family comes most Wednesdays..
If I am able, I prepare a fresh homecooked meal.....
