Don'T Fool Around! (Ode To Golf)
Whack that ball; don't hit a tree
Be conked out in the head you see!
And don't hit into the rough
Oh my gosh; that sure is tough!
Or maybe in "the zone" you'll be!...

Relationships
In order for relationships to be successful
We need to enter institute of marriage
But not with whom we want to fool around
But with someone with whom we want to meet
An early light of day....

Admitted and Committed
Admitted and Committed

Those who fool around and this admitted;
Realized comedy f errors have committed;
Learn how to speak,
Should others seek;
From all efforts to improve you benefitted.

Premium Member hyper crazy worker bee
The energetic hyper crazy worker bee saws a stem
For the prickly green thorns give him pause, annoying him
The rose looks more like a daisy anyway
Another reason he feels he can fool around and play
I watch from the safety of my lovely garden floral seat
Enjoying bee, who flies to another blossom to repeat...

Hillary Should Not Shun
Hillary Should Not Shun

Trump cause you to cough
Should be sure to turn him off
Like poor round of golf.

Can become upset
You will do with deep regret
Fool around and fret.

Fools things they have done
Hillary is only one
You should never shun.

Premium Member A Nickel In My Ear a Dime On My Head
A nickel in my ear,
A dime on my head.
Two quarters in my nostrils.
The dollars are all dead.

A page in my arm.
The rest of the book never found.
You’ve been busy dear
All I’ve done is fool around.

A token in my pipe.
Empty penny slot next to my head.
Golden goose is laying hard.
The dollars are all dead....

A noun
It stands on solid ground
And may not want to fool around
With a verb who’d need to prove
That it could rouse it, make it move.
An adjective might think it best
To decorate it, get it dressed.
And prepositions, have you heard?
Connect them to another word.

Yet out of all the nouns I’ve known
Some prefer
To stand alone.

The End....

Rockin' Tic-Tockin'
You be my tick
I'll be your tock

We'll ring the alarms
of our inner clocks

Unchalk your heels
take a spin on my block

We'll put the rock
in eachothers sock

Like hammer and nail
our passion will wail

Like caught in a storm
our bodies will flail

Then we will ease down
and just fool around

Until we're ready again
to shake the ground.........

Don'T 2
Don't give me too much
I'll expect to be touched
With a mind of a kind
rewinding my rhyming
with you, I'll succumb
giving into utopia
that heaven can't touch
an
emotional rush
Baby
let's fool around
or
I'll go aground
with
fantasies of you
all wrapped up in truth
Please
let me believe
or I'll have to grieve
with
you ranting for more
knocking on
heavenly shores...

What You Don'T Do
You don't lie,
You don't fool around,
But you do fall down,
You are human,
You can't hold me down,
You don't mean anything to me,
Even if you made me drown,
You don't own me,
You don't have power,
I have sufferred enough,
You are no longer the controller,
The marks that remain,
The scars left behind,
The most important thing,
You will not do,
Is be allowed to love me anymore........

Premium Member Eating the Words
Unbridled bout of self-assertion blatant
turns you to a repelling babbling exuberant.
Shutting of orifice floodgates you eschew,
forgetting everybody isn’t fool around you.

Torn to shards if you blurt bullsheet absurd,
do a volte-face eating your crappy words.
Try to not gulp them dry in stigmatic drouth*,
for a fly does not enter a closed mouth.

Trump Thoroughly Upset
Trump Thoroughly Upset

Starting this one from scratch.

Trump is upset and has made us upset;
Seems to fool around and always fret;
Injured in shade,
By a grenade,
Was in offensive he thinks they call Tet.

He even lied about this. What spurs him on
amazes me and I have many bones to pick
with him. Have heard he has Vietnam Vet
on his license plate as of late. Oh, and he
is offensive in many ways these days.

The Wisecracker
The wisecracker is going to cut you down to size before you even know it

He knows you but he is not going to always show it

Because he is the wisecracker

Wiser than wise, not even a fool

He will fool around with you and jump right in before you see it

But, he is by no means anybody's fool

He has an ace but he never uses it in the right place

He cracks jokes until you feel broke

He wins until you lose

He is the wisecracker...

Space Poets
Of those who have gone to the moon;
do come back soon.

Of those astronauts
that just watched
other’s fool around in the dust;
a most worthy career I trust.

We are all spacemen and women,
though women generally prefer
space walking to swimming.

Those that do not care too much
for dust;
in God they trust.

Some spacemen
turn dust into light.
They are quite a sight, up all night
shoveling
and digging to make wrong things
just right....

Queen of Cheat
Queen of Cheat
Queen of cheat
From head to feet
Born to fool around
With sight and sound
Trick people in and out
Convince them truth is a doubt
Good intention is ultimate justification
To mess up any relation
Innocent smile guilty eyes
Raise suspicion and many whys
Evil deep down hidden
False reasons given
Sneak to the surface and sting
And dive back to the bottom and sing
The victorious song
How to escape after doing wrong
The two syllables name
Rhyme with damn and shame...

When Praying While Kneeling
when praying while kneeling
God was always appealing
(God my hand had been dealing)
(God gave me great feeling)
(God would help when we were healing)
(God was rocking and reeling)
(God my religion was revealing)
(God stopped my sinning and steeling)

idiot blooming
would go to church not grooming
found my wife fuming

in God we believe
there are those who do deceive
causing us to grieve

when the sun will set
we would fool around and fret
were deeper in debt...
