Premium Member A Fop a Fool a Popinjay
He was a fop, a fool, a popinjay
Man-about-town, too cute and gay
A fashion plate, a cavalier blade
His arrogance riveled an oak’s tree shade...

Premium Member Trust Ii
Trust is only a word
after all, why do we trust?
When at the other end
of a broken one,
one is labelled a fool a simpleton!

Premium Member the only good thing about him
There’s a new führer in Washington town
He is intensely confident and bold
A buffoon, weird misogynist, a fool, a clown
The only good thing about him? He is rather old...

Masking a Fool Pm
silence marks a fool a wise man - a closed mouth marks understanding

Proverbs 17-28....Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. (KJV)

I Hate Love
Because love hurts,
love lies,
and love breaks hearts.

love makes promises,
which to some degrees are cheap,
like an ocean love sometimes is deep.

I hate love,
because it makes one a fool, a tool,
so shallow as a pool.

"Maybe i should hate people,
not love she said"

love is just an emotion.
just like any other emotions.
I said....

Is That Your Foot?
Is that your foot
stuck up my butt?
Your shoetips
Tickling my throat?
Or am I just another
insane nut,
And somehow I got
your goat....??

You decided to teach
This fool a thing...
And, trust me,
That you did!!!

Now I know your
shoesize is 6
And I will not kid,

It hurts, it hurts,
It truly hurts,
My butt is sore as hell,
I guess it is
the price I must pay,
For being dumb tom bell....

Between the Lines
Sometimes there between the lines
A hidden message lurks.
Sharp-eyed readers understand
That’s often how it works.

Simple correspondences
May seemingly reveal
Communiques at odds with how
The sender might just feel.

Perception isn’t always right
And instinct could be off,
But truth may fool a shallow soul
While “deeper” folk may scoff.

What we say and mean
May twist and tangle up like vines;
The trick in the deciphering
Is there between the lines....

Premium Member Blood Red Moon
In moonlight, where all lovers kiss Beware the spell that charms a fool For crimson red will vex the eyes A capricious stain will startle eyes A trick to tempt crossed lover's kiss Bewitching every star-struck fool If you choose to be the fool Beguiled by moon, who winks an eye Be wary of the moonlight kiss A kiss will fool a blind man's eye, when stars conspire with the moon

I Tried To Tie
I tried to tie, I said, I said,
some rocks to billowed clouds.
In this I was a fool, a chump!
For rocks, as is both well allowed
and widely wist,
pass always through these vapor stumps,
and gathered mists,
and won't be bound with lumps.
So all I’ve really done is stone the earth
with quarried things that loud ker-thump,
become the cause of people being
sore bereaved with grievous bumps.
Oh no! Look out! Please mind your head!
And look out poems!
Gazelles upon you tread....

A Beautiful Minded Maze
The yellowbrick of a broken mind
dancing with lurking shadows
of an unfriendly kind
as
I am lonely with tears falling
not a tree in sight
stones and pebbles grating across my nerves like terror
in a land without painful tragedy
addiction tampering with the brightest of light
storming was an inner child confused in the maze of Oz
will I be the fool a lifeless scarecrow
shaken with fright
or will I be kind to myself and finally grow past these sleepless nights?...

A Fool a Love a Man
What kind of man would put you out of his heart, a fool.
What kind of man would look into your eyes and see only color, a fool.
What kind of man could not hold you dear to his life, a fool.
What kind of man would give you up because of his pride one that has nothing to live for inside. What type of man am I ? I'll tell you.
One that sees the purity of your naked soul with a naked eye.
I am a man eternity cannot bound.
I am in search of angels and it is you that I have found....

Pennies Too Many
You can fool a fool,
you can cheat one’s mind.
You can con a con,
even steal from the blind.

You can shake a shaker,
you can brutalize a Brut.
You can mob a mobster –
and embezzle their loot.

You can charm a charmer,
sell your soul for a penny.
You can take from a taker,
for pennies you have many.

But can you hold a hand,
and experience love for free?
Know true respect for all to see?
Gain one's trust without a fee?
You poor, poor, foolish soul,
who will ever get to know the "real me"....

I Am Not the Person You See
I am not the person you see

I am not the person you see,
There’s a fool, a clown inside me.
Shackled by my chains and red tape,
Only in solitude does madcap escape.
Sometimes I yearn to let go,
Be the extrovert only I know.
Show you who I really am,
Eccentric good-humoured man.
Shirt and Tie to the office trance,
Back home at five, party and dance.
Come the day I meet my fate,
Madcap has left it too late.

There’s a fool trying to break free,
I’m not really the person you see....
