Premium Member Halloween Smiles

Three brothers with their Halloween costume
Played trick and treat after riding log flume
Men asked them to pose awhile
For a photogenic smile
But in a shocking countenance, they fume.

Undone
Along the flume, my ghosts coalesce;

Feeding the soul of another lover;

Little does she know,
forever was never my intent;

As certain as the days grow cold,

and the autumn harvest thins,

the drumming within my chest
will slow and one day cease;

There is nothing to be undone
until my final breath
has passed....

Premium Member O Lily
O lily blooming near my darling's tomb
Scent her with your immaculate white bloom
She's sleeping just like in her mother's womb
O lily blooming near my darling's tomb
She sought my love and care like a fresh flume
Yet, to her death brought an unending doom
O lily blooming near my darling's tomb
Scent her with your immaculate white bloom

Not Everything Is Black and White
Not everything is black and white

Black river white moon
Tells of a wise fortune
Stars hit eyes like silent bright tunes
Sparkle between spaces all strewn
A faded earth darkened shapes bloom
Chimney stacks dark tangent flume
Trees leaves rustle collectively croon
A pathway goes around like a spoon
Silence so rare but totally consumes
What a beautiful night for fairies to come out and sit on their favourite red mushroom....

First Love
FIRST    LOVE

Her voice was as a bell tolled in soft motion
Chiming with her laughter
Trembling every liquid emotion
Till it overflowed its banks hereafter

And surged out, a new energy limitless,
Into the dimmed world, with perfume
From flowers blooming in my wilderness
From my dammed stream’s unblocked flume

And the stars shone anew
As the tears of joy and emancipation
Flowed more urgent, glistening dew
On the petals of adoration....

Sounds of the sun
Buzz buzz go the jet ski's,
Chug chug go the glass bottomed boats,
The speedboats race leaving a long white flume,
The water bubbles from the pool aerator.

There's all of the beautiful people who stride around like posers,
There's the strange body shapes that just let it all hang out.

There's the floats and the balls,
There's the parents warning calls.

Children learn to swim from side to side,
You can see their parents so full of pride....
