Tears Like Wild-Fires
Fallen tears flow on
Like wild-fires on my wet face
As I sit waiting
Written: Aug. 1, 2015
broad faced koala
like Jim Henson stitched muppet
stinky hugs clamber
wide eyed from home in gum tree
scared away by Aussie flames
Notre Dame erupted in fire
Ghosts gasped in the funeral pyre
For the Devil's horns
Are the Crown of Thorns
Held fast by an angelic choir
as you shop
on eac block
around cities oor towns
it smoke makes you jokes
and fires that's
make the stuff bust
its HOLIDAY
FIRES AND CHESTNUTS
Inner fires burning
Feed with deepest root of thought
Heart adds to grown mind.

Just before ashes
rose to the sun,
burned and swallowed
in a crimson smoke gust;
every meek whisper
melted to one,
and a lullaby lingered
while streets crumbled
to dust.
Santa gave Donald Trump a big sack
That he thought Trump would never unpack
But to Trump's great delight
It was all anthracite
(Donny loves to burn coal 'cause its black)!
He would change the world when he was young
Fires of righteousness leapt from his tongue
Despairing of success when he turned old
He but changed himself ~ the world enrolled
air feeds fires desire
hot flames spark and roar within
solid earth quenches

The devastation is beyond comprehension
Little can be done to control its dimension
Fort McMurray is ablaze
For relief we all pray
As the tragedy continues in spite of intervention
The devastation is beyond comprehension
Little can be done to control its dimension
Fort McMurray is ablaze
For relief we all pray
As the tragedy continues in spite of intervention
The heavenly stars are on fire
I’m told.
You have to take some things on faith.
But where’s the smoke?

Fires.
A world full of liars.
Hate.
Feeling too late.
Scars.
Everyone chasing cars.
Life.
All the strain and the strife.
Pain.
The feeling of going insane.
Shame.
Life will never be the same.
Can you understand
beyond thinking
Can you know more than
your mind can learn
Can you overflow
without leaking
Can you warm beyond
the fires burn
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)
My heart’s tears fall to extinguish its flame.
that burns for true living
And yet laments, for fear and doubt came
and called such a goal a fanciful thing.
Thus I cry and reduce this blaze to a mere sputtering
can’t win improvise
crocodile tears woeful cries
hypocrites disguise
endless feigning soul destroyed
truth turns to ash neath stone eyes

Once treasure stored in sacred troves,
now ashes in abandoned stoves,
and yet we look for Phoenix rising,
renew a flame uncompromising,
so we may seek in storm and rain,
to gather treasure once again.
animal, fire,
The female deer starts
Her ears turn her head around
Forest fire coming!

Smoldering burnt brush simmers
Sending noxious fumes about
Long after the fire’s spent
Will wildlife return?

The fires are gone, but yet I burn. I burn with memories of screams and smells. I burn with anger and love. I burn so hot my heart aches, but the tears won’t come. They are too busy trying to smother the flames within - flames only peace can end.
In the quest for the fire I was alarmed by the sudden storm;
The thunder the waters;
Flows falling down mists illuminating pouring raindrops;
Putting out the quest the blazing fires:

All colours will be seen
Love this time of year ~ fill your cup
Hot chocolate, hats , scarfs gloves cosy up
Log fires lite in gardens brings dazzled light
As days get shorter ~ blazing sight
Kicking leaves, roasting chestnuts magic in the air
Like the stars whose fires unfold,
its great fury goes not untold;
as the force of its mighty face
moves in all things, all time and space,
and pulls on worlds one by one
like planets that circle the Sun
so, too, are we pulled in its sway,
feeling its might from far away.

Celestial things massacre time

‘Black Magic Woman’
Earthly things embody the moment
within their transformation
The caterpillar—the butterfly,
the wood before the fires glow
(Villanova Pennsylvania: October, 2016)
The fires of wisdom, burning
Genuine insight is articulating
Knowing others sterling
Understanding yourself, worthy
Mastering strength in humanity
Nourishing fire of body and psyche
Joshing at fear kindly
Beholding intelligence in oblivion
Each and every one
The Fires of Wisdom Perfection
The chant, the drums
the beat, the thrum
The fires leap high
the beast must die
The screams, the shouts
the painted war-whoops
Leaves crackle, thick smoke
fetid air, throats choke
Metal spears all raised
sharp cries pierce the haze
Too late the high priest
beast's heart has ceased
