Fueling Fires With Lies

can’t win improvise
             crocodile tears woeful cries
                   hypocrites disguise
           endless feigning soul destroyed
truth turns to ash neath stone eyes

Hi David, What a deep and well-written write. Lies are so common these days; they appear as truth. Well done:-) Alexis

Heya Alexis, I love lies in a story or poem, that’s part of writing and intrigue, but when manipulated in the guise of political statements, to purposely fan hatred and egos, as you said they appear true, cheers David

Fantastic verse, David. Truth doesn't seem to matter anymore. Plenty of narrative that blows truth out of the water.. Great job Panagiota

Thank you Panagiota, your so right, it doesn’t seem to matter, I love made up stories in poetry, but pushing it with a hidden agenda, no thanks, cheers David
