Instapoem

I have to remove
these Instagram filters of
love from my very
eyes just to tarnish the pure
gaze and pulchritude of yours.

FIVE line poetry number 2

In the madness of morning
she filters my thoughts
brightening up the moments
cutting through the chaos
of another clouded day

She's still a cutie
Thanks to software filters and crops

Beams From Heaven

Arouse the morning
Light filters on jade waters
With icy sea stones

Lapping sounds caress
God’s beauty for soothing sound
Uninfluenced joy

Budget Day

Lying in bed
Streching limbs
Slowly sinuously
Gently

Snow is falling
Forecast is bad
Budget Day is here
Reality intervenes
Anxiety filters in
I get up stiffly
To absorb it all

Faded Dream

Sunlight filters through you
soul of glass
Heart of stone
Unchanging
Nothing more
Then a faded dream
Of memories once good
Turned into dust and ashes
never growing old
young and cold
forever

Premium Member That Hilary

When you’re writing ‘bout Hilary Duff, then you know that your life’s pretty rough. Seems the world’s on the brink, but you sit here and think ‘bout avoiding the filters with 'mough'.

Echoes

I fall asleep in clouds of snow white and baby blue
I stand tall in the middle of nowhere if only you knew
I call out to you - echoes protrude through the air
Despair filters through the darksome atmosphere

Overlays
Are the seeming
Maps and filters
Stories and concepts
Memories and expectations
Portraying and explaining
What's happening..
Overlays may
Seem to hide
Nothing at all
Appearing as
Overlays...

Premium Member Body Wise

Vitamin D for you for me
Sunlight and air; both still free
Quinine in tonic water clear
Filters blood in hearts so dear
To exercise in many ways
Four good steps to enrich your days.

Overcast Puddles

`

An autumn
sun brightly
glowing
in a
cloudless sky
filters
through
my office
window

as I can
only stare
at an overcast
puddle
of teardrops
formed in
the shape of
your
sadness
sad

Hearts Are Blocked But Relationships Are Open

Somg with dust and desires
Just as filters forgotten
Cocktail mixers and cigrettes
Relationships are all open
Fake feelings like glitters
Busyness seems better
At times love sinister
Twisted all the matters.

Premium Member Tittily

Wifey-poo accuses me of having no filters “Tittily” agree, see what I mean, something's off-kilter Not like normal dudes Stuff slips out rude Meant to lighten up things when suffering from fissures
