   No more fear
     of what I might hear

My ears filter out the rot

Time, lost along with another passing season
misted moments mixed with lavender essence
dropped down in a canyon of heartfelt misery

A fervent haze rises across the baked horizon
burning deep visions of succulent lips waiting
on honey dipped words to melt frozen moments

-never forgotten...
