Premium Member Best Teacher Ever
Coming in a windstorm,
Twirling her crazy,
Laughing maniacally
Loving us gladly.

We adore our fifth grade teacher.
She finds us all mad.
In a great and glorious way.
We are lively, and happy.

Best school year ever.
Feeling her crazy
Loving our lessons,
Enthusiasm sells!...

Friendship
For every friend there is something different.
Regardless of who they are.
In my life I have had one friend.
Every day since fifth grade.
Now she has a man that
Doesn't respect her.
So I wait until she wants to leave.
Hoping that he doesn't hurt her anymore.
In an instant our friendship went to nothing.
Please friend, he is nothing; I will be here forever....

Premium Member Parents Note To Teacher
Will’s mother sent her son’s fifth grade teacher a note.
He is with you more than he is with me.
If he has bad manners, it is your fault.
Because you did not teach him better.

If he hits someone, I suggest you ground him for the weekend.
Here is a permission slip.
He can go home with you.
He is deathly allergic to peanuts.
You cannot open peanut butter in the same room.
Good luck!...

Fifth Grade
One thing remains from those cherished times.
Memories and keepsakes from my childish crimes.

I will never forget the sweetest girl.
She was my friend, my love, my world.

How funny it was to play and run
Through the water in the midsummer sun.

She was taken in a violent event.
A shotgun now rings in torment.

That is all I have to say
Any more and I will fade

I will remember more of her living
Instead of her death and time forgiving....

A Pie In the Face For Dan
Back in fifth grade, there was this obnoxious guy. I always wanted to hit him in the face with a pie. It often crossed my mind. I wanted to give it a try. What inspired me was the Soupy Sales show. Dan was just asking for it. If I could give it a go. I often dreamed of such vindictive attacks. A pie with the speed of a fastball by Sandy Koufax. I would just take the pie and throw it in his face. That would have been something to put Dan in his place.
