A sprinkle of night magic
by a purple moon
wings of valiant beauty
getting ready to festoon
Fairy dust and fantasy
wanders of the fawning night
tiny feet light as air
tracing out the morning light.
He made me the centre of gravity.
Pride dressed, lone like blood moon
Whose deserted home became vanity
Did I become evil or was I rune?

An unbecoming part inside causes me to rise

born under October's moon
weave with forlornment
your bewitching adornment
of a harvest leaf festoon.
Faces in pumpkins
awake memories of when
the children were young;
and "Trick-or-Treat!" rung
the holiday season in.

from dashing down mint green meadows as that,

There are ‘situations’ and ‘incidents’ so they say
They wheel out a spokesman whoevers flavour of the day
Try to deliver bad news with a celebrity sparkle
Doesn’t help the ‘situation’ from becoming a debacle
Promises are made in the debris of life
Cuts very deep like a social knife
‘heard it before’ shouts a voice from the crowd
Another joins in social justice got loud
