Life Tanka

Spinning and turning
Life always like a huge wheel
Mighty ferris-wheel
We have to cling onto it
Lest it turn and kick us out

To Let This World Be My Carousel

i
am
perched
high up
upon
this
Ferris Wheel
up here
where
the
air is fresh and clean
to
let
this
world be
my carousel

who is winning?
me?
my bike?
the ferris wheel?
the loud carnival barkers?
or the boats?
the boy turned to see
amazed it was him
It might have been his first win

Night at the Carnival

Love is lights that never stand still,
a thrill that echoes past the chill.
Shared cotton candy and smiles,
wandering through neon miles—
hearts afloat on the Ferris wheel.

On a ferris wheel enjoying the love An opportunity to propose thirty feet above A thrill enhanced A wonderful chance To ask the big question didn't need a shove

Blondes Brunettes and Merry Go Rounds

Her fun house fingertips tracing dews drenched, fruitions lips...
Felicities ferris wheel; twined, their voluptuous femme fixations
Sixty-nine pink balloons eroticas poesy, carnival caravan of love.

Rainbow Lorikeets

a pair of
rainbow
Lorikeet birds
Spin free
as a Ferris wheel
Upon
the highest branch
In the garden of
a thousand eyes
from
their favorite olive green
Pistachio tree
Sun-bake hands
Shall
pray for thee
Upon
the highest branch

Light Is All But Broken

sometimes the cluster of thin smiles comes from the poor children trapped in the Ferris Wheel of poverty where the deep shy never blossom we laugh then we cry for the gentle light whispers back to us and the light is all but broken

Blackest night is slowly fading away,
teasing earth with new dawn radiance,
golden soon for the current holiday,
neon ferris wheel follows moon dance,
novel and charming in the new old way,
like a vivid spinning top of chance.

observing mindfully
upswings and downturns
from the void of perfect stillness
we witness with nonchalance
Ferris wheel movement
for our soul’s delight

the eye of the hurricane
hums in blissful silence

Upside Down Again

ferris wheel
inside of sky,
yet
upside down,
again said i
thus
pushing up
against the sun
sailing through
timeless clouds
taking me towards
the other side of
the world gone by
still laughing
through
the gentle wind
said i and
world is
upside down again

Premium Member Time So Magical

Time is a merry-go-round
In unruined moments.

It is a Ferris wheel
Of ups and downs.

It is sheer canopy of air
On which all voices sound.

It kisses the ground, all around
And goes no where from here.

Time is infinite lake
Of light, and dark, and diamond sparks.

Ferris Wheel

Walang napapala,
ang titik sa tugma.
Pilitin mang kumawala,
babalik pa rin sa rehas
at kulungang walang tanikala.
Hayaang magdusa
ng walang parusa:
Gumala ng gumala
sa pagitan ng luha at lupa!
At kung sa wakas man magmula,
‘wag papagtagpuin ang dulo
at kabila:
pabayaang maging tama
ang tama!

The old county faIr
Six times on the Ferris wheel
A three dog night

A sudden shower
Run for cover or shiver
Uncurled ringlets laugh

A tiny trophy
A water pistol winner
Clutched in sleeping hands

Our overture
A rumble of fireworks
Beneath a rainbow

Premium Member Tongue Tied

For the winter carnival bundled up,
frozen breath adds to anticipation;
Steaming cappuccino filling my cup,
the vertex of this warm celebration;
Eliminate the need to be grown-up,
tonight enjoy a childhood fixation;
Indulge yourself in a ferris wheel ride,
an event leaving you all but tongue-tied.

Love Is What We Share

love is made of brick-and-mortar
love is hopping on a pogo stick
love consists of bits and pieces
love is a jigsaw puzzle in a box
love is joy and laughter
love is a ride on the Ferris Wheel
love is eating pink cotton candy
at the county fair
love is what we are after
thus
love is what we share

Ferris Wheel

Days through days.
  Fire in snow.
Someone says:
  'Ground - below'

Hard to find
  Sense to live,
But pulse in mind:
  'Chance to give'

Grow the Soul,
  Ruin the maps.
Heart is bowl
  Full of traps.

Greatest thing
  Ever learned:
Since you blink
  Path - returned.

Moni Peal and Beau Ideal.
Rode the Paris Ferris Wheel.

It was love at first glance.
She's the fairest lass in France.
Beau asked Moni for her hand.
Though it was a flash, Romance.
Three hundred made the wedding Dance.
Half of Flanders was entranced.

As it passed mere happenstance.
Is it not the Grand Parlance?

Premium Member The Court's Most Hilarious Jester

She made this bard the courts most hilarious jester
A ferris wheel of brown-orange eyes expresses her
Try to look in those eyes and not become their requester
I fall in like quicksand, into muddy pools as I caress her
Cinnamon of that iris gives my heart nothing but pester
The purse strings wide open, my soul now, her investor

Franny At the Fair

Franny rode a ferris-wheel,
Franny rode a horse,
When she ate a hot dog
She always dripped the sauce.

Franny rode the ghost-train,
Franny rode the dipper,
When she drank her flavoured ice
She was a noisy sipper.

Franny rode the dodgems,
Franny rode the tractor,
When she ate her fairy floss
It looked like it had attacked her.

Ferris Wheel

The electrifying ferris wheel ride
Make my mind spinning around
This foolish heart beating like drums
I feel weak with your charms
And I can no longer hide
With you, I feel safe and sound.
One minute I am thrilled on top
The other minute I am falling under
Till this excitement came to a stop
Until now, I am still amazed by its wonder.
