I actually do enjoy the thrill of a Ferris Wheel, but it does require a bit of courage for those first few minutes of the ride... Eve, you did a wonderful job of expressing those fearful feelings in this poem. Nice work! ... Good luck in the contest!

Hi Eve, I know the feeling well - I went on a roller coaster with my husband before we were married many years ago when you had no safety belts just a bar to hold onto and will certainly not repeat this experience ever again - when I read you poem it took me back to our roller coaster ride! Well penned Eve and good luck. Best wishes and hugs my friend, Jennifer.

Beautifully penned; I love the feel of going backwards on a ferris wheel; like floating through the air.
