Beautiful Linda became a nun,
prayed in the Chapel forgiving John
who swore her faithfulness
with very solemn words...
she did not know that he was a con!

Faith is trust in the things that we can't see;
An expression of great hope like a pray.
In faithfulness, hearts and minds can be free
To feast with pride, and to love and be gay.
Heaven waits for those who have faith to lay.

Bright curious eyes…
He watches it parade past
With soft morning words…
He promises his faithfulness
Standing straight and tall…
He renews his oath with a salute
With a shoulder slung rifle…
He defends and protects it
Now adorning his casket…
He has given his life for it
When the heart is locked
with love's padlock
safe
secured
like a prison
a cell's door closed
who else can enter ?
when keys hidden
no spare keys found
not near around
but loyalty
if goes with faithfulness
are best keys of love
they open the locked heart.
