Liz Warren AKA Pocahontas

Extols med coverage for all of us

      No middle-class tax says she

We will have to wait and see

"Methinks she speaks with fork'ed tongue!", said Gus

The Inner Beauty

If one extols the beauty of your face,
Question their gaze—can they see your place?
You are far more than a fleeting glance;
A heart filled with purpose; a spirit’s dance;
Can they truly cherish your light?
Or judge your worth by just shimmering sight?

Elaborate the plan
Enticing by pretence
Exclusive in deceit
Extols hypocrisy.
Each step has been rehearsed
Except for masquerade
Excessively disguised.

The bell does toll the death of one,
yet, extols the birth of the new.
Within a blink, it has begun,
the joyful cries, sung out on cue.
May coming days be full of virtue.

The days gone by, a trial run.
Blanketed in a misty hue.
Now a new rainbow is spun,
which, with both feet, we jump into.
May the next twelve months give us peace we're due.

The president extols his bravery,
praises his performance.
The media berates his mission,
questions his integrity.

His wife waits and hopes,
sends photos of the children.

Musicians write his story;
his mother prays for safety.

He dons fighting gear,
second nature to him now,
pushes away thoughts of home,
concentrates, focuses
on the present hour.

He's just doing his job,
defending the cause,
fighting for freedom.

You wrote songs that went up Billboard’s chart.
Wonderful lyrics went straight to the heart.
Born with a beautiful voice to be heard,
we loved listening to every lyrical word.
Your recordings were played throughout this land.
They included “Longer” and “Leader of the Band”.
Your blood ran through your instrument,
and your songs are in our souls.
Dan, you have earned a place that is permanent.
Your sound is something everyone extols.

Insanity of Man

Insanity of man Is the raging human quite insane? has the animal-human lost control by brain? if the spirit has a weak control? animal lost control by soul? is on its own again, not whole, the duality of man, the spirit plays a role, a conscience word extols, but rager listens not, is by the aggots got, does Lucifer enfold? When sanity is forgot, no spirit in control? Incensed to madness, what???

Ambush

A brook cascades daintily extant
~ flowing gayly heart’s incited joy
Meandering, nestles on Peace
~ quivering restraints strain ‘n squirm
Breaking-bank, careens downwards
~ extols faith’s grim heart-bomb
Undulating, veering waves extrapolate
~ Yonder’s zooming blue-adieu
Sojourns, so-longs, traversing under veils
~ weathering wry extremes
Heart’s incessant journey keels love’s mainland
~ new opaque's reach...
