Depression I Sense

Depression I can sense,
on the facial expressions of angst-ridden souls,
so immense

Yet hope has wings,
from those who treasure benign roles,
and sweet things

Blue mood
cures one extols
wooed

Depression I can sense,
from those who treasure benign roles,
wooed

Howard, thanks for participating in my contest. The feelings of depression can be taken care of if one flies on wings of hope well in time. Congratulations for your placement. Best. Mohan.

No everyone picks up on those signs so it is good if you can sense them and maybe would be able to help someone in such a situation. Thanks for sharing this one with us. I guess it must be for a contest because it seems like someone had the minichu form going. Sara

This poem is an entry for a minichu contest, Sara. The relevant contest is now closed. I love your precise reflections on my writings. Thanks for that, Howard
